Not very happy with this item and sending it back. It’s extrememly noisy when boiling. We weren’t happy with it in looks either. It doesn’t look like the photos with the lovely lot blue rolling boiled water. The water boils and a blue light is just around the bottom of the kettle. The problem with glass is that even with one use the inside looks dirty. Won’t be buying a glass kettle again.

If you are going to buy an electric kettle then buy a Russell Hobbs product, This will be the third one I have purchased over the last forty years, you cant beat them for reliability and good design. this one has sturdy handle allowing a good grip,very important for elderly people, like myself, it is easy to keep clean, more so if you live in a hard water area, and for energy saving the" boil enough water for one cup" feature is spot on .and I do like the blue illumination. Expensive? no you are buying quality.

This kettle looks lovely but builds up So much lime scale every day I have to keep de scaling it or it looks a state. Would never have have purchased if I knew this. A replacement would be a great gesture

Fantastic kettle, seems to boil really quickly. The novelty of the see through glass wears off quickly. Not very noisy

Fun kettle with the blue lights. Does what it is intended for and has a very helpful 1 cup marker

The kettle is excellent visually - a nice piece design with a ring of LEDs illuminating whilst the water heats up. The performance is also top notch with a very fast boil. All around an excellent kettle.

Nice but very nosey and have found water ?? leaking from the base not sure where yet but will find and then return as faulty

Easy to fill and use. Takes up to 1.7l but will boil for a single cup. Automatically turns off. Lights up blue when in use.
