Got this matching hood after we got a new cooker a couple of weeks ago and our inherited hod when we moved in, was just old and awful. Our stairs are next the cooker. So the upstairs just stank after cooking. The hood was simple to install. Can be used as a vented extraction to the outside or as a recirculating extraction. We currently have it recirculating. To be honest early doors, it does a great job. By on the loud side on full whack, but nothing crazy. But wha do expect when you’re shifting large amounts of air through grease traps. Looks good too. But most importantly no cooking food smells lingering upstairs anymore.

Very efficient fan but gets very loud. Have not used it above level one as it is too noisy otherwise and would be impossible to cook and talk at the same time
