The curler heats up so quickly and it curls my hair in seconds. The only down side for me is that the heatproof glove doesn't hold up to heat well after a while - I have waist length hair so it takes a while to curl - and I ended up getting a 2nd degree burn on my ear (this could also be down to user error though).
