    Performance levels do not match the good looks of this machine...

    We bought one of these in January. At first we were really very impressed. It was fast, quiet and the clothes felt really good once they were washed. Unfortunately, within 3 days it had manifested a fault. A very loud noise that sounded like grinding or grating suddenly came from the machine during the spin cycle when it got down to about 4 mins left. Samsung engineer came out twice and blamed it on a couple of different things but even after he had left the noise persisted. After that it threw up error codes and randomly shut down mid program. Oh and the noise continued. Always at 4 mins left always when set to max spin speed. The 1400rpm spin speed was one of the main reasons we chose this machine and we couldn't use it. Despite all theses faults Samsung refused to admit that it was faulty and we had the devil's own job getting it replaced. After weeks of back and forth Samsung finally agreed to provide an uplift number so that we could replace it like for like. Then we had to wait over a month for a new one to be delivered. It was delivered yesterday and installed by the AO delivery staff. Unfortunately this one is no better. Although it was 'professionally' installed and the set up process was completed as per the instructions it is loud and vibrating to the point where it is moving out from under the kitchen counter. As I said it is properly calibrated and and a spirit level confirms that it is dead level. I don't have the energy to go through the whole return process again so all I can do is leave an honest review of our experience with this machine. I would advise people to avoid purchasing this model.

    Broken from day 1

    Honestly, I would love to give a review but the day it was installed was the day it stopped working. Had to wait for a week until an Engineer could come and am still waiting a week later for the 'brain' piece that will fix it. Surely a critical piece like a 'brain' should come fully installed with a new device! Unfortunately it was also very difficult to speak with AO to resolve this and spent hours on hold and they were passing blame to Samsung and vice versa. Honestly just really bad experience.

    Pump failure within 4 months, Samsung support hopeless

    Bought in May 2021, has a 5 year warranty registered with Samsung. Ao delivery excellent. Machine very quiet and easy to use until the water pump failed 9th September 2021. Ran all the checks advised in the manual. Phoned Samsung via number provided by Ao. It's a non-UK 'technical department' who didn't even know that the machine is programmed to pump out at the start of every cycle including the drying cycle so none of the programs can be used. They read out all the checks from the manual and asked me to carry them out again. Then they wanted me to download an app so they could access my phone camera and look at the exterior of the machine (the pump is internal) to check I hadn't 'misused' the machine. 50 minutes on the phone and two departments, both with accents that were very difficult to understand and had a poor command of English, before they agreed to refer it to the nearest repair service who are 120 miles away from me. I did receive a confirmation text and email within 5 minutes of Samsung raising the work order. 24 hours later the repair company haven't received the instruction from Samsung, can't even book the repair until they do and advised that they don't often come up to my area and they're very busy so it would be a while before they could visit anyway. Phoned Samsung back to ask why they still hadn't instructed the repair company. Their computer says the instruction is still being processed. No they can't re-send it as it will raise a second job on their system. I was advised to give it another 24 hours then I should chase it up again with the repair company. The repair company don't work the weekend and today is Friday so that's Monday. Samsung can't even chase it up and get back to me. So no I don't recommend this machine or this manufacturer.

    It's ok but doesn't quite dry your clothes but that could be any washer dryer.

    Happy with it for the most part. But the dryer isn't great. Always have to put it on for a bit longer after it's finished the cycle.

    Bought to replace same make and similar model. My main bug bear is I can’t completely mute the noise it makes to celebrate I’ve switched it on, turned the dial, pressed go etc. The only noise I can mute is the 5 minutes at the end of the cycle. Otherwise it does the job.

    Only just purchased it but so far seems like a brilliant washer I’m not 100% on the dryer yet as it seems to take hours to dry things am I doing something wrong or is this standard
