Hotpoint been out to fix it freezing up 4 times and then took it back and I had a replacement freezer from EO .com

The top pull down door is very flimsy the hinge snapped after a few days.

It works fine, but the fold down doors to the top two shelves are very fragile. Slightly overfill the shelf, try to close and the retainer to the separate pivot breaks.

The appliance itself is fine. I knocked off one star because the information guide was for a different model. Importantly, the operating features were entirely different and the text was either very badly written or badly translated from another language, so did not make sense. So you have to work out how the thing is set up for yourself, not too difficult, but unnecessary.

Overall it's a great freezer. Unlike my old one, also a Hotpoint, the controls are on the inside of the freezer so you have to open the door to see them which takes some getting used to. I find the door is hard to open but conversely this means the seal is good so I'm not complaining about that. It is doing all it should so far so no regrets.

Good size. Spacious drawers. The two top flaps are a bit stiff to open but we got used to them quickly. It is very quiet.

The freezer was bought to replace a similar same brand Hotpoint which had failed after 13 years. It appears to be very well insulated and is extremely quiet.The seal on the door is incredibly strong so this freezer may not be the best for anyone with arthritic or weak hands. The warning bleep is suitably loud. Being an allotment holder, I do tend to freeze a lot of product which makes the drawers heavy. I felt the plastic drawer fronts on the previous model were too flimsy and some cracked because of this but I feel the plastic drawer fronts on this model appear to be be even flimsier.
