Put 4 slices of bread into toaster and when they popped each one was toasted differently. And when you only want 1 slice toasting the whole toaster has to operate as their is only one lever a waste of electricity. Very poor considering it’s SMEG the kettle is ok but not worth the money. Very disappointed overall

Doesn’t brown the toast evenly and burns the edges. Would expect better for the money

Quite big toaster which takes lots of space on the worktop ,highly overpriced product I cant say it is better than previous £30 toaster .It doesn't even have pop up wire rack for warming up buns or other products You would want. I wouldn't buy it definitely not for this price. I did it because it was My wife's Christmas gift wish.

Great looking product and a good buy. My only comment would be some of the chrome feels/looks cheap - because they are plastic - for the money may have expected metal and then would have been superb

Love SMEG. Goes perfectly in my new kitchen. Polishes well and is easy to keep clean.

Excellent toaster but overpriced

Considering the price it’s a basic toaster but looks great in my new kitchen. I chose white. Enjoying catching the toast when it pops up as it has a strong spring mechanism! If you don’t have to have a Smeg one, there are others on the market that do the job just as well and look equally stylish.

This toaster may look simple but it's retro design has uplifted my kitchen completely. Alongside a smeg kettle. I'm super happy it. Yes a bit of the pricey side but love it. The only negative comment ...crumbs get stick on the top inner sliver lining ring when the toast just out. Which ppl who hv ocd like me would notice and bother alot. Otherwise brilliant
