Not worth the price, cheaply made, very flimsy and the porcelain igniters can be broken easily, the burner's metal cover does not appear to be of a good quality material. Typical of today's products, single use only. I wish I could have seen it prior to purchasing, would not have bought it.

We purchased this hob as a Neff replacement. The hob comes with a flameout thermocouple on each burner that closes the gas valve if the flame is blown out. the downside of this safety device i that it can take up to 6 seconds of ignition to warm up the thermocouple so that the flame doesn't extinguish when the ignition is released. The 'failure' rate increases if a pan is placed on the burner before ignition. I am sure that it is just a case of familiarity.

My old gas hob was a Neff and 16 years old. When it started going wrong recently I went online to see who had any and whether I could find one that was more or less exactly the same as the old one. I wanted to have the fast burner at the front on the left, so this one fitted the bill for that. I also wanted it to have the buttons on the right hand side which this one does. It also had to fit the gap available and this one ticked that box too. It works brilliantly and looks the part, but it’s way too posh for my out of date, rather dilapidated kitchen, so I’m looking for a new kitchen to go with it now! All joking aside, it’s a lovely hob, it works extremely well with excellent safety features. You can’t turn on the gas taps without lighting them properly, so if the little ones fiddle with the knobs you won’t get gassed out. Its very easy to control the flame and I can turn the burners down much lower than on my old hob and still get the same results, so I’d venture that it is more economical too. I’m really pleased with it, I’ve not burnt anything yet including myself. I’d thoroughly recommend this hob if you’re looking for a good, solid, stainless steel hob with cast iron pot stands and good safety features.

Love the auto gas shut off if flame goes out. Much better flame which seems to be more upright than previous model we had. Heats pans much quicker.

Looks great and works great

I bought this for my 89 year old mother. It has great safety features as even if the gas is turned on, it will not escape without being lit. Simple design and easy to use.
