Unfortunately, the hob was defective. One of the switches was faulty. Thankfully, this was picked up by the installation engineer and reported. Smeg are in the process of rectifying the problem. Sadly, it's now a week since the initial installation and we have to switch the burner where the duff switch is, with one of the other switches!. The other four burners work perfectly and very efficiently. But for the problem this is a cracking piece of kit, well worth the money.

It's a lovely hob, delivery quick but one of the gas ring collars was scratched. Smeg offered a fantastic customer service and a replacement is on the way. It's not the easiest to keep clean and does show make, but all in all its lovely and matches with the Smeg oven.

Quality Hob at the lowest price on the net. Delivered safely and on time.

Big enough to use all rings. Easier to clean than I expected. Pan supports are heavy to move.

Great compact size for 5 rings

Brilliant replacement 5 burner gas hob! Great burners with well made heavy duty cast iron pan supports. All in all a great 5* gas hob and one I would thoroughly recommend.
