We have been using an electric induction hob for 3 years and decided to go back to a gas hob. This isn't any old gas hob, it's in a diamond shape, with a massive wok ring. The whole hob lifts off of the work surface, protecting the controls. The design is amazing, so easy to use. 3 pots one face one way and the other pot opposite. No handles hanging over the edge. This is a great safety feature. No more knocking the pans off accidentally. The hob is very solid, holds the pots and pans superbly, without any rocking. The pot support is quite heavy, but gives you confidence that it won't flex when heated. The way hob is designed allows every bit to cleaned, very easily. All in all this is another great purchase we have made through AO.com. Thank you for a great product, excellent correspondence, great communication with the installation company. All in all, a great and easy experience.

To start with, we were absolutely thrilled to bits. It’s really powerful, the layout and design are great. However, after only a few weeks’ use the largest hob has discoloured to a gold colour and the others have gone matte….has anyone else had the same issue?! We’ve been so careful what we clean it with so no obvious reason for it at all.

Looks smart, practical safe design with wide pan supports and control knobs protected from the heat by being slightly raised and facing forwards. The wok burner is great. Overall I am really pleased with this purchase

excellent burner layout means you can comfortably fit all your pots on. Looks are as good as functionality. Self igniting burners make cooking a pleasure. Reassurance that if the flame blows out, the safety feature will turn the gas off. Installation was simple.

Such good quality. Very easy to use. Easy to keep clean and looks good. The engineer also told me the gas is 3 times hotter than my previous hob.

Really pleased with the Cucina Hob. It was delivered on time - as announced by AO. The delivery lads were spot-on and installed and commissioned the new hob after removing the old one. The layout of gas rings, I think, makes more sense than the conventional four-square layout, in that only one ring is up against the wall and three rings are "out in the open" in diamond formation. For me, that's a masterstroke! The hob way outperforms the old one and I feel like I've leapt into the 21st century! Who would have thought a gas hob would have made so much impact on me?
