Bought this oven about 3 weeks ago, after much deliberation. Seems to have been a good choice. Easy to install - slide it into position in the cabinet and plug it in. The electric cable is a reasonable length. If you take the door off (easy to do) the oven is quite light so no problem lifting it (my daughter helped me). Before purchase we had some doubts about how easy it would be to use this oven - only one knob and touch screen for all settings. However, using it has proved straightforward. (Some ovens that we looked at seemed very complicated and you would have to refer to the manual every time you want to cook something!) You can either use the various "auto" or special" settings, or you can go for good old-fashioned conventional or fan. We like the fact that, if you haven't set the timer, the display automatically shows how long something has been in the oven. Heats up a lot faster than our old oven did - 200 deg C probably takes less than 10 mins. Also, the grill seems very effective, we haven't needed to use the maximum setting yet. Home-made pizzas, lasagne, loaves and cakes have all been good. The hydro cleaning is straightforward to use - just add water and start the cleaning setting. Wipe down internal surfaces afterwards. Removing shelf guides is very easy, and grill element hinges downwards so you can clean the top of the oven. We haven't cooked anything "messy" yet so don't know how effective the hydro cleaning is when something has spilt or dripped... The outer rear casing seemed a bit lightweight but it's concealed when the oven is installed - and I have noticed that the surrounding kitchen cabinet doesn't seem to get very warm when the oven is being used, which suggests that it's well insulated. For the money, we think this oven is excellent. It comes with a 10 year parts warranty so hopefully the components are decent quality.

We took our time assessing what would be the best built-in oven for our needs and budget. After some deliberation, we decided on the Hotpoint SI4854HIX and we are delighted with our choice and thankful that we took our time and read the reviews. The oven is fast heating, quite easy to understand the electronic controls following reading of the essential info and just trying it out. We haven't yet tried out all the features but look forward to doing so...All in all, a great choice!

Just like every oven this is perfect. The touch makes it look so fancy. Definitely worth the price. I have not used it yet but just like every oven it will work the same

Generally a good oven, can be a little slow to heat up. Note came with plug - entry shows requires wiring.. luckily the connection team had it covered.

Excellent product, used it for few weeks now. Good cooking settings.

Great appearance. Feels sturdy and good quality. Nice large handle and glass is easy to see into. Comes with a roasting tray, a baking tray and a grill rack. This is plenty of choice for the size of oven. Plenty of cooking features and options, but the controls are not intuitive. The display defaults to time cooking, I’d like an option to default to temperature. Should be easy to clean due to cleaning cycle and the inside parts are easy to take off and put back on. Seems quick to heat up, but find it slightly slower to cook food than previous oven (and following cooking guidelines on food). May result in a more even bake but often find myself opting for a slightly higher temperature than suggested. Seems big inside. And had enough room to fit under my gas hob (it was close!!). Overall happy with the product.

lovely product easy to fit in, and looks great below the matching microwave there are alot more functions on this oven than i had before and am slowly working my way through them the oven comes with a grill pan and a drip pan both fit well , the motor/fan on the oven is really quiet and efficient i am really impressed and would definately recomend this product

AO priced matched all items that we wanted as we shopped around and also give free timed delivery. Delivery from AO is always a great service. My mom had a dishwasher from Argos last week and the delivery service was terrible as they failed to delivery on the day she had booked. I will only buy my appliances from AO.
