Had the new hob in a couple of weeks now and it's just what I was after. Looks brilliant, operating is really easy and smooth, the position of the knobs is great as they're out the way of the burners and pans (previous hob they melted/burnt from the burners). Really solid piece and looks really smart. Only downside is to my bank balance as I now want the Smeg double oven to match!

Very pleased with the hob, looks lovely pleased with the knobs it adds a touch of class to the kitchen. Not shiny shiny chrome which is better for cleaning and maintenance. Overall delighted.

It works really well as a door stop. It may also be useful to heat food.

Great hob with all the different size burners allows you complete control over all your cooking needs

Beware of using wire wool (or scourers) as it will scatch it.
