The hob looks beautiful and as it is a gas hob of course it is easy to use, very responsive etc. I just wish that I had thought about the ease of cleaning it. Fry something, and the fat is all over the place (as always), but you can't just do a quick wipe, everything needs to be taken apart. I now wonder whether I should have investigated induction hobs more thoroughly....

Just had it for a week looks good but when I spilled some food it marked although it's very small . I am scared to spill anything in case it marks more not sure if that is supposed to happen . Looks good and is well build but got to clean daily otherwise it will be impossible to get stains out .

I've been using my new hob for a couple of weeks now. I am very impressed with it, it's sturdy, you can have a wok and pans on the hob at the same time as I was worried about some of the reviews I read but so far so good. The only con would be the cleaning, it burns quickly so have to clean it everyday and have to take the whole thing apart on the big burner which is a pain but overall no other issues so far!

as you would expect from smeg this is a great looking appliance, on the down side it does really show the finger marks and isnt easy to clean, you do need to hold the ignition down for quite a while or else the flame goes out

Good looking reasonably substantial construction control knobs a bit wobbly, time will tell! But for the price this is a good hob. The centre hob is more than hot enough for wok usage.

The stainless steel SMEG looks fantastic on my wooden worktop. I have used it for a couple of weeks and found it works brilliantly. Not found any issues so far. The only minor criticism would be of the cast iron pan stands, which slide by a cm or two as they dont sit neatly in any preformed groves. Overall, you cant go wrong with this SMEG.

Prompt arrival and fitting. Works superbly. All very good, especially as this was a week before Christmas!
