Nice looking oven. 1st one died within 4 months of buying. AO replaced it no bother. 16 months later the replacement now no longer works. F12 error this time which I gather is a new control boards. Not good when 2 ovens break within 16 months. I do noting fancy in the like using the different functions. I only ever use the double fan option. Very disappointed in Hotpoint.

Door seal detached after 13 months. Repair kit failed. Another pile of junk for landfill.

Broke 20 months after we bought. Warranty was only for a year. Very disappointing. While it was functional it was ok though, we were happy with it

When it works its really good only issue is it keeps breaking! Initially it was fine but then the clock kept resetting to 00:00 and within a week or two it was turning itself off when you opened the door. They fixed it and it worked again for a week or two then it started doing the same thing so they replaced a whole circuit board , after a few weeks it has started doing the same thing again. going to have to get someone out yet again!! Dont buy this model!

Oven was good whilst it worked, but only lasted a year before breaking.

I bought this when completely replacing my old kitchen. I based my purchase on reviews, and it was a terrible decision to buy it. Looks good, and lots of options, but takes forever to cook anything. Literally twice the time of my old oven, for whatever I cook. Preheat takes at least 30 mins (whatever temperature you've set), then it's also slower to cook once the target temp is reached. The only way to get a reasonable cooking time is to put it to max temp, but then you get food which is burnt on the outside. Additionally, the door makes a disconcerting flimsy, rattling noise whenever it's opened. I don't hold out much hope that it will last. If I could return this I would. Just don't buy.

Not had this a week yet and the internal light has stopped working. Only one wire shelf supplied so have had to buy another one. Overall quality is low.

This oven had a fault from day 1. The temperature indicator lies. E.g. when set for an oven temp. of 180C the visual and audible “at temperature” indicator fires at between 80C and 90C. Hotpoint updated the firmware in the oven claiming a software fault. This did not resolve the issue. A replacement oven was delivered. IT HAS THE SAME FAULT! Hotpoint engineer does not know what to do now. Hotpoint Chat and Telephone systems are all offline! Really don’t know what to do now.
