    Great oven!

So far so good... my previous oven was badly in need of replacement, so to be fair any oven that has a working fan and a door that shuts is going to be positive! I think we will be mainly using the general fan oven setting to begin with until more confident. However I love to bake and the pastry setting really appeals to me, so as I get braver I will try it ( just don't want to ruin cake!) Also the dough prover setting will be really helpful. Another thing I like is the diamond clean setting, not yet used it but actually looking forward to oven cleaning for the first time ever!! Tiny downside as mentioned in previous reviews is that there is only one shelf and whilst the full size baking tray is handy, for me it doesn't replace that second shelf as I assume it's meant to. No big deal, I'll order another one elsewhere on internet.

Great oven lots of different settings, love that it self cleans! Preheats really quickly, would have given 5*s if it came with one more oven rack

Replaced an old non fan oven and the difference is huge. Cooks evenly and has a wealth of settings. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

    Decent basic oven

We bought this as a like for like replacement for our old Hotpoint fan oven which finally gave up after years of faithful service. Entirely happy with it and it has some extra features so good value. The only criticism is you only get one shelf (but you also get a drip tray and a baking tray so we might get by without having to buy an extra shelf) and there's no handle if using the tray as a grill pan. Luckily we kept the handle from our old oven! So overall a good purchase at a fair price but Hotpoint have been a bit stingy with the accessories...

    Love it

Am not allowed to mention that the Service was excellent from both AO in delivery, and Hotpoint when setting up the warranty. Most importantly though, the wife is VERY happy with it, so still living the “happy wife, happy life” dream! the number of functions it has blows my mind, and cannot wait to try out the “self cleaning” one. Having a roast this Sunday, so no doubt that will be our first foray into that option!

    Excellent oven, but...

    3/5
A full-featured oven which is easy to use and install, and heats quickly. Thoroughly recommend it. However, the accessories it is supplied with let it down badly. It comes with only one traditional wire shelf and two solid trays which also slot into the rails. The deeper of the two trays (which most people would call the grill pan, but which they call a “drip tray”) is NOT supplied with the wire rack that would normally sit on top of it. Apparently they expect you to grill directly onto the one wire oven shelf, which any self-respecting slice of bacon will drop straight through. The other solid pan is referred to as a ‘baking tray’. It cannot serve as this as a baking tray must be flat, and this is not; it’s is slightly dished so anything you bake on it will slide towards the middle. This leaves only one usable shelf. If you’re baking say, two sponges at the same time, there is not enough room for proper air circulation - you really want them on two separate shelves. If you use the solid ‘baking tray’ as your second shelf, you’ve effectively blocked the air circulation. What would otherwise be a superb oven has been let down by the inadequacy of the items supplied with it. Such a shame.

Only used the oven a couple of times since bought it, quite a few settings and not sure yet which to use for what I cook, sure I will get used to it though
