    Poorly designed burner crowns

    2/5
Burner crowns / skirts got tarnished after only a couple of uses and it is impossible to clean - we tried every cleaning product on the market. Contacted Smeg who advised that I can buy replacement parts!

Smeg Cucina S64S 58cm Gas Hob Review

    4/5
Easy to use with instant ignition and a useful auto cut-off for the gas if the light should go out on any of the burners (helpful for my elderly mother who might let something boil over!) Fairly robust burner supports for heavy stew containers etc. Good value for money.

    Cooking on gas!

    5/5
The hob looks smart and works as expected. The knobs turn smoothly, and the gas ignites quickly. Once lit, the gas burns quietly. The pan supports are sturdy but lightweight, making them are easy to lift off for cleaning. The hob and supports clean up nicely, and you can use a microfibre cloth for a shiny streak-free finish. Overall, it is a very good gas hob.

Good product, quickly installed. Could do with heavier gauge stands though ( ones on old hob were cast and seemed a lot sturdier) a pots don't seem so well supported.
