For peace of mind alone this is worth every bit of it's price tag. Of course, these are never cheap but they are 100% reliable and the app will alert you immediately to any issues. It self-tests every day, you don't know it's doing it but the app will tell you. The most ingenious part BY FAR is the motion sensor light...Finding your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night is not an obstacle course anymore.. I bought two of them. They link togther perfectly with the app.

after getting a Nest Thermostat we decided it was time to update the smoke/CO2 alarms in our home. These were the obvious choice. Easy to fit but be aware that you will need a hole the size of the one in the mounting plate in your ceiling. They come with push fit connectors so they are easy to fit. You just scan the QR code on the alarm to add them to the Nest app. Love the night light as it makes a trip to the bathroom during the night a bit safer. Love that you get a green light when you turn off the light to let you know everything is okay. Find the verbal warning that smoke has been detected really great and they can tell the difference between smoke and steam. Hopefully will be adding the nest security alarm when they get round to releasing it in the UK.

Really easy to set up using the app. Looks great - hardly much bigger than a regular smoke alarm. Where you have multiple Protects they all link up so if one goes off they all join in. Affixing the device to its ceiling plate can be tricky but isn't impossible. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product - delivery was prompt and on time and the product itself is easy to install and looks modern and blends in well with the interior. In a digital era we need products that can be managed from out everyday devices and this ticks all of the boxes without issue! Very easy to install. Also have a battery powered in the summer house which is linked via the app. Yes they are expensive but they are worth every penny

Amazing item , love how it tells you it detects smoke before sounding the alarm giving you time to silence . (Amazing if you have dogs so can stop if when you burn toast so you don’t make them scarper) I’ve had it notify me once about smoke when I’ve been out and turned out to be I left a candle on upstairs so was brilliant ! Love also how it connects to my nest central heating so when it detects smoke or co2 it turns the heating off to stop the gas too. Well worth the money.

Great product

Good product all around. It is easy to install and set up, I had the wired version and was able to get the three set up in about half an hr. The nest app interface it's ok but I was expecting a bit more interaction with it. But it is ok as you can set up different functions for the night light. The real plus of those smoke alarms is the pre warning functionality, they do not start screaming but warn you of the possible alarm being triggered, ideal for false alarms where you have the time to silence it. Pricey but overall a good item!
