Oven is really small & you can’t alter the lower two shelf heights only to top one, when the oven door was built they put a clear plastic bag over the handles for protection & some moron has trapped it when it’s been bolted down and now there is a price stuck!!!Gutted with it to be honest!!

    Disappointed

    2/5
Having had the cooker for around a month I thought it's time to write a review. Cooker looks great and feels like a quality product but unfortunately that's not the case. First of all small rubber feet fell out from the pan supports and went down the plughole so phoned Stoves and sent me out replacements but they were different from what was originally fitted but I bought a tube of flame resistant silicone glue to glue them in. Secondly the chrome part of two gas knobs started to pickle and had to have them replaced only to be sent out incorrect part again but on the second time of phoning them the correct parts were sent out. Thirdly the clock zeros itself and whatever buttons you press nothing works so had no option but to turn of the mains and reboot it that way....engineer to come and replace clock. Fourthly the red lights that tell you when the oven is heating up and reached temperature have mysteriously decided to fall inside the fascia like they haven't been secured properly when it was assembled. Engineer will rectify that when a new clock has been procured. Really hoping I haven't bought a dud as I was proud to buy British supporting our British manufacturers but I'm starting to wish I'd gone German. It's not a cheap cooker so was not expecting faults like this.

    no proving oven

    3/5
Looks great but no self cleaning oven sides, no window in top oven and no proving oven! All that happens if you choose this function is that the oven light goes on and so does the fan, no heat! I really should send this back as I really wanted a proving oven but I cant be bothered with the hassel no near Xmas. It has a wok burner but no stand, they are cheap in Amazon. The burner is great but it means that you only have three rings as the wok burner is very strong. Why did I keep this? It looks great, got it in red.

Pleased overall but beware no bread proving function!

    4/5
Happy overall. I had to replace my cooker at short notice after the very reliable Canon Hotpoint finally gave up. I decided to buy this Stoves cooker rather than a similar Belling one as I was attracted by the bread proving function but despite being advertised this model does not contain a bread proving function however the website still states that it does. The manufacturer did eventually tell me that the slow cooker function can be use for bread proving but they simply just don't tell you this so have wasted lots of time! Pleased overall with the cooker, it bakes well, looks great however the finish around the hot plate makes it difficult to clean above the knobs and the shelf racks in the grill fall off easily.

Great but could have been made aware pre purchase

    4/5
I like the look and feel of the cooker and the overall service from ao was excellent. However we had a problem that we were not made aware of in the advertising and information on ao's or any other websites. The large ring on the front right of the cooker only takes a pan of 20cm. This caused us a problem in that we have a frying pan that we frequently used on our old cooker for 20 years with no problem and assumed this would be OK. On this new stove it set off the carbon monoxide alarm - could have been really dangerous if we hadnt had the alarm. It wasnt until we scanned the user leaflet that we found out this limitation and the potential health hazard

Very early days - so far so good

    4/5
This cooker looks amazing - it really is a statement piece in the kitchen. Functionally it has been working well in the few days that we have had it. We looked at a few other cookers at similar and higher price points in a shop prior to purchasing this cooker and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the controls. On the other hand, the oven drawer sliders and door and lid hinges feel a little cheap. It's too early to gauge longevity hence 4*.
