Be aware that some Richmond 550e cookers (including mine) purport to have a safety feature which has been knowingly disabled by the manufacturer. The ceramic hob has a 'hot' warning symbol, but this does not illuminate when the hob has been used. After correspondence with Stoves, I have discovered that this is not a fault but is deliberate. The 550e model is no longer fitted with the relevant warning bulb under the glass. The manufacturer has used ceramic hobs with the warning symbol still present, making it appear this feature is still included. Neither sales information, packaging, user manual nor Stove website give any indication that this might be the case. Not only does this seem shoddy practice, but it clearly has the potential to be dangerous. I have raised the above issue with the manufacturers but despite ongoing email correspondence have yet to receive a satisfactory response.

Oven is really good, one of the rings didn't work when it was installed and a 2 week wait for the engineer, hope it will be fixed soon

I have wanted this oven for a while so my husband bought it for our 36th wedding anniversary it was worth it , looks good in my kitchen and is great to use.

I have had this oven for a little over two weeks. So far I can say I love it. The oven heats up very fast and the overall use of it is very easy. Seems easier enough to clean. The oven looks amazing and feels of good quality. I would highly recommend this oven!

Not a large choice in 55cm cookers but after reading reviews of other i chose this. Really pleased, oven heats up really quickly and is much less fierce than my old fan oven. It bakes very evenly. Looks very smart. Only slight niggle, the lid made a loud twang every time I opened it but my husband managed to fiddle with a bracket that was catching the spring that helps lift the lid so problem solved. Overall very happy as I was reluctant to have a new cooker, have got used to it very quickly, very pleased with my choice.

Easily the best oven we’ve had to date. Reaches cooking temperature really quick, simple visual aids for timing, temperature and hob heat / hob saftety and is a piece of cake to keep clean. The hob cover is a really nice touch and it’s a great looking product

Ì couldn't be more pleased with my new Stoves electric cooker, I find it to be great value for money, easy to use, heating controls of the fan assisted oven, top oven/grill and the ceramic hobs are easy to use too. Also the cooker is easy to keep clean.

Recently purchased this stove (all electric) it’s been great. Cooks well. Hobs are responsive. Looks great too. Only one issue is food gets stuck in gap between hobs and front of stove. Otherwise I’m very happy so far
