Very pleased with this product, good looking low profile stainless steel hob. As close as you can get to the high end hobs.

Beautiful and practical hob - great quality and hi-end finish

The delivery was spot on and the product itself is brilliant. Very low profile, with cast iron panes covering the whole of the cooking surface. The feel of the knobs is of very high quality, with a slight resistance to them, both when turning and pushing. The gas cut-off safety feature is great and we feel a bit safer with this unit. I also love the way the hobs are arranged as to maximise cooking space. It looks and feels like a quality item. The electrical lead comes without a UK plug, just the wire, which in fact was better for me as I already had the existing wiring from the previous cooker and I just joined both wires with a junction box. The foamy seal provided feels very thin and narrow, however once laid you can see that it's just enough. For the gas, the unit comes already fitted with a male 1/2 elbow inlet, and an adaptor to convert to a 1/2 male with a taper thread. I installed it myself and the installation was straight forward, just left it ready for the plumber to connect the gas supply. Top product.

We needed a new oven & hob and this hob certainly stands head and shoulders above others I viewed. So easy to use, a great quality product that I would highly recommend.

This is great - the unusual layout works perfectly for a large frying and 3 saucepans, or even 2 frying pans and room for more. This is exactly what I was looking for. The controls are easy to use and very sturdy (not rubbish plastic like on my old hob). The cast iron grills are very sturdy and give a flat platform so pans don't wobble. Looks very smart too.

Love the simple utilitarian design of this hob. Smeg's classic strong controls - it seems the newer hobs no longer have this style :-( and good variety of heat power from each gas ring. The cast iron is good quality and splits into 3 for easy cleaning. The layout of the 4 hobs is really practical and the cast iron is completely flat and stretches right to the edge of so it it really useful as a pot/tray stand whilst still cooking on some of the other gas rings. Great value for £

This hob looks amazing and matches my smeg oven beautifully. Diamond positioning of the rings makes for more room. Burners bring pots to the boil much faster than my previous hob. I would definitely recommend!

Sleek, beautifully designed hob in stylish stainless steel. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the service I received from AO... the price was the lowest on the internet and having used AO before, I trusted the fact that they would deliver on time and contactlessly during these extreme circumstances - well done AO (again)... as Arnie once said... ‘I’ll be back!!’
