love the look of it and easy to use. Only down side is the cleaning and durability. It looks great but being glass you need to be careful as already seeing small scratches after only a few weeks. Also easily smears and when cleaning don't just wipe with a damp cloth. I have found easiest way to clean is initially wipe away any food stains with a damp cloth then spray a small amount of glass cleaner onto kitchen roll wipe over then buff with a soft dry cloth.

A perfect addition to any kitchen! The hob has a very sleek and elegant look for a gas hob, which is exactly what I was looking for. The built quality is great, as expected from Bosch.

This hob works as well as it looks! The flame control is so precise, it's a pleasure to use on a day to day basis - you can literally follow recipies to the letter. low heat up to high heat over 9 increments gives you total control of your cooking. It's a little fidly to clean but let's be honest which gas hob isn't? It's nothing that a microfiber cloth doesn't make light work of - it soon looks as good as new especially being glass, it buffs up lovely! The build quality is typical Bosch - everything feels solid and good quality. The cast pan stands have rubber feet inset into the cast rather that stuck on - it's the little things that make it what it is. You won't be disappointed!

I bought the forerunner to this which is identical apart from the control dials. It cooks great....end of, but it comes with a hefty upkeep element. In addition to the black glass base there are a further 21 elements of this hob that require washing and the alloy and cast burner caps stain and rust. I have just finished washing mine and it has occupied me for an hour. Contemplate this scenario. First you remove the cast stands, then the burner components and dials. They then head to the sink, not the dishwasher, for a good old soak before some energetic scrubbing to try to remove anything that has had the audacity to fall onto one of these items and burned. Next you break out your cleaning agent of choice to have a go at the filthy glass top to remove any dried food or even oil splashes. Once done with that you then retrieve your glass cleaner of choice and give it another going over. Having done this and then dried off your other components you get to reassemble your pride and joy in the vain hope it will look just how it did when it came out of the box. Not a hope.....I did mention that the alloy stains and the burner caps stain and rust. Oh and I forgot to mention that the cast iron pan stands are coated with some sort of material presumably to make them easier to clean and prevent rusting, except if you happen to move frying pans etc about, it actually wears off the coating! In conclusion then. Prior to buying this I had considered an induction hob. Wish I'd bought the induction hob. Remember this (wish I had), how east is it to create marks on your windows and mirrors just by inadvertently touching or spraying them with something? That hob is the same surface and you're cooking on it and the 21 other bits that sit on it.

Very easy to operate with nine stepped positions, knobs are easy to set. Glass top not the easiest to clean as a strip down is needed every time

It has only been installed for a week - but it fits in a standard sized cutout so great in terms of upgrading/updating an existing kitchen. Would look amazing if you were able to fit flush (see installation instructions). So far very pleased with the hob in terms of form and function.

Very impressed with this product. Quality finish although needs a wee bit of attention to keep it clean (don’t mind this as I have a black granite worktop and it looks absolutely mint)

Very happy with this hob. Good spaces between each burner so pots don't clash. Excellent control of each gas ring with nine settings on each. So simmer means simmer. The black glass looks good but need to purchase the correct cleaner and cloth to keep it polished. Great unit from Bosch.
