This is the first time we installed such an extractor. Our kitchen didn't have this before. But we are really glad that we purchased this appliance. It helps to reduce the smell a lot. It is a bit noisy though.

After being let down by a competitor this came very quickly and with no fuss. should have brought the appliance from a.o in the first place. The hood looks very stylish and finishes off the kitchen perfectly.

The glass panel at the front is barely held on with anything, so it can be knocked off just by cleaning it. Not great above a hob. It is also too loud. Hotpoint have the worst service of any company I have ever used, if you have any problems

It looks great in a small kitchen, fabulous new design, easy to assemble and fit. Other reviews said it was noisy, which is true on high settings but it clears kicthen smells fast and lights up the cooking area well. If you can afford more get a quieter one, but if you want something that does the job well and looks modern this is a great buy!

Nice looking unit very easy to install. Unlike some cooker hoods it is set back to give better clearance when cooking. The only small issue is placement of the lights are at the back so don't fully cover the front of the hob.

Really pleased with how this looks. Very modern and as it slopes upwards it can be positioned low enough for me to reach but without my husband banging his head which he did on our old horizontal one! Quiet too!

Nice looking extractor. Even on the lowest setting it is noisy though. Lights are a long way back so don't illuminate the front of the hob particularly. It appears to extract well enough, I have ducted it out side, the hood comes with a 6inch cowl and back draft shutters to which I added a 5"reducer. The controls are pretty high up so the other half has to reach up to get to them but not outrageously so. For the price though we are generally happy with it.
