    One nice feature is missing

    3/5
Hi, the oven is of good quality and I'm happy with the purchase. But, there is a but! My old oven was bad (I'm still celebrating the day it broke) but it had a simple feature: if you pressed the "quick 30s" button while cooking, it would add 30s to the remaining cooking time. Well, this one won't let you do it. The 30s button is disabled while cooking. There is a separate function to add time, but you need to press multiple buttons and strangely it only lets you add minutes (i.e. no less than 1 minute)! Even more strangely, you can add multiples of 10s if you execute the same function after the cooking time has ended (you can add time without having to open the door first). There are three buttons to add time, a +10s button which is disabled while cooking, a +1min which always works and a +10mins which I will never use. It's a pity because the oven is good and this looks like something that could be easily fixed in the firmware.

    Design Review

Several design flaws. Interior painted will denature & lift, used to be stainless Steam extraction inadequate. Will affect paint quicker Buttons fiddly &1 power button for all levels will wear out. No 1 second timer increment. Vastly inferior to Panasonic Microwaves of past. Will not buy another.

    Top quality

I’ve had microwaves in the past but this one seriously has to be the best, it’s size is perfect for our busy family, very easy to clean and has a massive choice of things to cook, reheat and defrost.

    Not the same.

Bought this because it was the closest to our last one. It is really noisy compared to the other one, and it has dark stains above and below where we press the buttons, despite the fact that we've had it less than two weeks. Would not buy this again.

Panasonic NN-ST48KSBPQ 32 Litre Microwave - Stainless Steel

    5/5
A fantastic Microwave oven that does so much more , Panasonic use inverter technology in there microwaves and it is so much the better for it , you get true settings so if you set it at 50% power it runs at 50% all the time ! whereas others use full 100% power for 50% of the time , All the other features such as grill and fan oven can be used together and reduces cook time energy used and you end up with something that is cooked better than a standard oven in a lot less time , build quality is good and the entire oven is stainless steel , Proper job as they say !. regards Paul.

    Great Microwave

Product as stated. Very easy to navigate and looks fat in the new kitchen/diner. Glad I went for the large 32 litre as we are a family of three.

Nice Looking and Easyish to use

    5/5
This is my second Panasonic microwave and I think better than the last one inasmuch as the open door button is easier than the last one which was necessary to press quite hard which sent the whole machine a few inches backwards with the effort. Have only just got the current one so it will take me some time to work out all its functions. But the simple task of microwave and start button I have sorted, finding out more by trial and error. But so far happy with it, it looks good and the functions I have worked out so far are fairly easy. The one thing I particularly like is the quick time function which I use a great deal.

    Unreliable.

We have now experienced two of these units and both have failed within a year; they would simply not run. Panasonic finally accepted this to be covered under their Warranty but not before making life hard work including attempting an entirely unsupportable claim that there was insufficient ventilation. It is on a shelf with a 2 inch gap at each side and over six inches above with no obstructions. Sadly alternatives of this size are limited. Our last unit lasted 24 years and we have two others in the house that are even older and have never let us down. ao were pretty helpful although had these problems arisen after 12 months we would suspect probably less so.
