I have always found Panasonic microwaves to be very good, and this one is no exception. However, I have a few niggles with it. They control panel is not as intuitive as previous iterations and the dark grey interior and woefully under-powered LED light make it difficult to keep an eye on the progress inside the oven. Lastly, it should be noted that Panasonic say this oven should have 10cm space to the rear, 5cm space to one side, completely open to the other side and 15cm of space above it for it to function properly. So if you want to use it in an enclosed area this is not the oven for you.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It has lots of features and looks good. The only reason I haven’t awarded it 5 stars is that it’s a bit hard to remember how many times you have to press the automatic programmes for some foods eg. For ‘potatoes’, you press the button once for baked, twice for boiled etc. I keep having to refer back to the instruction manual!

Nice Microwave! Smart looking and has all the useful power settings, and a few strange ones as well, and makes all the usual noises and beeps you would expect! Having read the manual it has comprehensive, easy to understand instructions for defrosting, cooking from scratch, warming food and cooking ready meals. (But I would suggest that to start with you sit with the microwave whilst you read it so you can see which buttons etc. the manual is referring to.) It has a wonderfully large interior so if necessary you could even put a casserole dish, or similar, inside. I am happy to recommend this to beginners and old hands alike.

Brought it to replace a previous Panasonic microwave that had given years of good service. Very happy with this one too, love the generous internal size, features and ease of use, looks good in the kitchen too. Internal light bright enough but not as bright as old one, not an issue though. Very pleased we brought it, first class product.

Having had no problems with our Panasonic Microwave for over 25 years, it came as a surprise when suddenly the door ceased to lock, rendering it inoperative. As such, a new oven was required and I had no hesitation in replacing same with another Panasonic Microwave. Having only had the new one for 8 days we are still finding our feet with it, but, as I am 75, it will probably be me needing to be replaced before the oven.

Good high power microwave with large compartment without the little used grills and things does exactly what you want from a MICROWAVE and looks good too was in clearance sale so good price all in all excellent purchase
