Fitted 8/11/2018,defective gas burner,contacted Samsung who didn't want to know and they just referred me to AO, who fitted same who put me back onto Samsung. This might be a good product, but best of luck if it goes wrong!!!

I’ve had this hob for 2 years, purchased from AO. The hob works great and is easy to dismantle and clean, and it’s sturdy for pans. One problem- my hob looks much older than it is because the stickers came off the bottom when cleaning- didn’t use any harsh abrasives and Samsung ‘can’t send any out’ when asked for some. I’d pick something else in the price range.

This is a good looking hob and fits nicely in my kitchen. I do actually like the idea of big rings being placed at the back and the fact that small pots and pans do not need a reducer. The only issue with the hob is the installation, the gas hob top right corner will continue to move a little when pressed down, make it feel a bit wobbly. I had two engineers looking into this and both confirmed it’s an issue with the design, it’s not a big deal but you’d want your gas hob to sit firmly on the worktop. This doesn’t affect how the gas hob works and pans to sit nicely on it and do not move or tip.

Bought this item in August 2017. Straight away I had a problem with the ignition. Got a replacement at once and it has been working perfectly for more that 2 years until I got again a problem with the ignition. Since then I must light it manually which is annoying. I wouldn't buy it again.

Looks smart, functions well, drivers small and easy to clean. However... the burner configuration is awkward to say the least. Most hobs have a small and large burner at the front for cooking that needs constant attention like sauces or high heat cooking, and 2 medium burners at the back for general and leave-alone cooking like simmering etc. This hob has two large burners at the back which means the pots you want to leave to simmer at the back are always over high heat (even at the lowest setting pots still boil over). So I end up simmering pots at the front - which isn't safe if you have young children. Or having to let them boil over at the back if you need to cook at the front. I've had this hob for 8 months and am now looking for a replacement due to its impracticality.
