    Broken appliance not replaced

    1/5
The open/close door button was broken on receipt of the product, I was offered an engineer to come out to repair the broken item which is strange as it had not been used and I would assume a replacement would have been provided.

    Not What it Seemed

    2/5
Bought this because it had the exact same external dimensions as our old Gorenje microwave (which gave out after 8 years of daily use) and had to fit into an existing MW/Oven housing. Have given it a 2 star rating because despite having the same external dimensions as our old MW it didn't fit the MW/Oven housing. It would have, had it been made with height adjustable legs like our old one so I spent some considerable time modifying the housing. I still have to remove it again to make further minor adjustments. Whilst it looks ok the stainless steel surround is razor sharp and I would have uploaded pictures of two deep cuts to my hands, incurred during the first installation. Also, the instruction manual doesn't reflect the way the MW cooking time is set....... 1. Press the MW button, which sets the default power setting 750w 2. Press Push&Go to confirm power setting. 3. Use +/- buttons to set cooking time 4 Press Push&Go again to start cooking. What actually happens is once the power setting is confirmed at step 2 the MW shows a default 30 sec cooking time, pressing +/- to increase cooking time at step 3 sets new time and begins countdown but MW doesn't start! The only way round this is to miss out step 3, start cooking on the 30 sec default setting then use +/- buttons to set the correct time once cooking has started. I have no idea whether this is a feature, fault or just badly written instructions. Certainly doesn't make me of a fan of this product. It has a 1 year guarantee. However the MW packaging contains a leaflet about registering a free 10 year guarantee on all parts - it's then you find that this has quite a number of exclusions, including the most used parts i.e. Knobs and buttons and there's a £130 call out per visit (on a £200 item). But they can offer an alternative warranty service for a monthly fee. And, this service isn't through Indesit. Quality / Reliability? Only time will tell. Score for service from AO - 5*

The button was sticking there right from the beginning, so not recommend

    Mid range microwave

    3/5
A mid quality microwave. Outer casing a bit basic and sharp edges but fine once it’s installed in the housing cupboard. Controls a little awkward not a simple migration from our old microwave but we’ll get used to it I’m sure.

    Good misread

Good microwave, a lot quieter than our last one, only issue is the start button that shows every finger print

    Bad UI

    4/5
The microwave works fine but the user interface could be better. Too many buttons need to be pressed to perform a simple task. Controls do not light up either which is a pain.

    Microwave with grill

    4/5
I've only had this installed for a few days but, so far, am very pleased with this. It is quite easy to use all the different programmes but I am sure I will work them all out eventually.
