Overall this is a very good oven. The efficiency of cooking is impressive compared to our old oven, something that can catch you out if you are used to specific timings. The one thing that might catch you out is the fan not stopping when you finish cooking. Previous ovens I have used stop the fan when you turn off the heat, this doesn't. It instead will run for up to 40 minutes to cool the oven down. At first we thought this was a fault, however after speaking to Bosch we found out this was the design.

We are delighted with the oven from Bosch, much better than the other Hotpoint oven we had. The Ao service was faultless.

My wife is over the moon with her new Bosch double oven. It heats up very quickly and cooks evenly. It is easy to use and the controls are easy to understand. It is also very nice to look at. It was easy to instal.

Bosch is a product that we have aspired to buy in the past, but was always a little out of our reach price wise and so would choose other makes of oven etc. Although this oven was a little more than we wanted to spend, we decided it was time to do just that in the hope the quality Bosch are renowned for would result in a better cooking experience and a longer service life. Although we will have to wait a while to see if the latter is true, we have already experienced how well this products cooks food. We bought this oven as it matched the dimensions of our old faulty oven and wanted something similar. When it arrived, it was very clear that the build quality is excellent and it looks a better oven in every way. The dials are easy to see and understand and no doubt the high quality interior will be a lot easier to clean. My only slight concern is that the rack holders attached to the side of the oven intrude into the oven space a little more than if they were built into the side panels, as in our old oven and this may prevent larger trays, (turkey tray at Christmas), from being used, but that remains to be seen. As for the fan noise and length it runs that others have reviewed; unless you are super sensitive to noise or spend time in your kitchen after the cooking finished, this is a minor issue, but I'm sure it's a necessary one. Yes the alarm could be a little louder, but again this is a minor issue. To finish; if you want a great oven for not much more that a good one, this is the one!

This oven didn't leave me amazed. Regular oven it worked. Did the pizza test and one side (the right) always cooks faster than other. Knobs aren't of quality as others have mentioned. Large tray included very light and thin. Oven door is soft closing... but grill door a little stiff. Oven is very large inside and grill is small. The cooling fan stays on for a while as others mentioned it does blowout cold air. All in all pretty average.

I am very pleased with my new oven (installed 23/9/20). It looks good, the control dials (mine are not flush-fitting) are easy to understand (if a little faint to read), heats up quickly with a light indicator (both ovens have this) going out when it's up to heat. Bright digital clock & timer, easy to set though not very loud alarm when done. Both ovens have a light (always lit when the ovens are on) so useful to see what's going on. Came with a free 2-year manufacturers warranty (register online) with an option to pay extra for 5 years. I can use the grill with the door open with no problems or it cutting out - something I asked other users about before I bought it (though maybe it cuts out if the door is closed and it's up to heat - I don't know as I'd never grill with the door closed). The grill (in the top oven only) is variable with the option to use just the inner element or on full power heats an outer element as well (my old oven had left/right elements). The temperature is also adjustable e.g. on very low to warm plates. The top oven/grill is quite shallow so only really for grilling or thin bakes. Mine came with 3 wire racks/shelves, that fit both ovens, and a drip/grill tray that fits almost to the back and edges of the oven (it does not have a handle and the wire shelves/racks do not sit inside it). As this tray is quite big and heavy I am using my old grill pan with it's own rack & handle. I checked out a lot of options for a long time before deciding on this Bosch (replacing a tired +20 year-old Candy) and I am really happy with my choice. A bit more expensive than some but a lot less than many. I think a good price/value mid-range. It does everything I need from an oven and grill anyway!

The oven itself is really solid. Quiet fan, gets up to speed quickly, cooks evenly. My issue is that nowhere in the manual, or purchase page, does it state that the appliance itself is supplied without a wire to plug into the wall. Needed an emergency trip to wickes to buy a twin and earth wire rated at enough amps to suit the oven. Fitting the wire also requires a torx head screwdriver which not everyone will have. If you’re not confident with electrics, opt for the installation option. Once that was done, I’m pretty happy with it so far, is very solid, looks easy to clean and fitted the gap my old whirlpool one occupied. Also as mentioned in other reviews, doesn’t come with a grill pan for the top oven, I was able to keep the one from the old oven, so look out for that!

The BOSCH quality at its very best. A very nice modern looking oven that is solid quiet and efficient. Cooks and bakes to perfection with consistent results. Easy to use and quick to heat to required temperature, and provides even heat distribution. Very pleased with the purchase
