Samsung HotBlast™ MC32K7055CK 32 Litre Combination Microwave Oven

    4/5
Product works very well. Irritated by dent on right hand edge of top of oven when there was no damage to packaging, but does not affect functionality. Needed oven so didn't complain. would have given 5 stars otherwise. Grill is a bit slower to heat up than anticipated but works fine once to temperature. Controls are easy to navigate and range of functions impressive.

    Excellent Product. Confusing Instructions

    4/5
This excellent Samsung replaced our Panasonic that provided us with fault free service over 14 years. I hope that this is also true of our Samsung. It has so many features we have yet to master them all. We use the combination options which allow either the grill or the hot blast with the microwave oven. Used with the crusty plate it can quickly cook all breakfast items like bacon, tomatoes or sausages using the grill/micro option. But strangely no timings are given so it's pretty much trial and error.. Hot Blast is just another name, we guess, for a convection oven. The oven was big enough to cook a whole chicken with a crispy skin and juicy flesh. This is a good looking Smart appliance.. Why then has Samsung spent about two pee of their budget in writing and producing the instructions accompanying the product.. It's confusing , appears to be a translated copy with poor grammar and spelling. Although there are three distinct functions: microwave, convention, grill. All three appear to be referred to as 'oven'. So confusing is it we have had to make copious notes to decipher these instructions to make it a bit clearer.. Missing is cooking instructions for sausages bacon or baked potato.. A grave omission.

    A fantastic Combi

This machine has surpassed all my expectations; it is first class in every way, design, cooking, ease of use and especially cleaning it. The crusting plate has now replaced the frying pan. I have always had great respect for Samsung. I can truly recommend this Combination microwave because it is a well made, well designed machine that should enhance anyone's kitchen.

    Great microwave and oven

    4/5
This Samsung model looks very smart and so far is working very well. Good points: The microwave feature heats more evenly than my past Panasonic model, and it is fairly quiet in operation. Using it as both a standard oven and combination oven has also been very successful. Roasting a small chicken takes just over half an hour on the Auto mode, with very good results! The oven pre-heats quickly and has cooked everything evenly that I have tried so far. The turntable is about 34cm wide, so plenty big enough for larger plates and oven dishes. Negative aspects: the beep is very loud, but you can turn this off completely if you want. There's about 17cm height clearance inside, so if you are cooking larger items they might not fit (particularly if they need to be placed on one of the racks). However, this would probably only apply if you wanted to cook something like a large chicken. The auto modes can take a bit of getting used to - the display only shows codes (such as "H2") and weights, so you have to cross-reference these with the instructions. This is made a little more easy as there is a list of codes and their operation displayed on a sticker at the top of the door opening. The "Crispy plate" is a special tray designed for food such as chips and pizza. Unfortunately it's not very large, and can only accommodate 1 to 2 portions of chips or a 10" pizza. Overall recommended - pretty versatile and great value.

    Size does matter

So far the only complaint with the performance is with how the chips turned out, but I will try again. However, I had a problem as to where to put it, due to its size. Previously had a Panasonic which was quite flat backed, but this is not so the stand was too small. I got an expanding one but then discovered that the bumps that make up the back feet do not line up with the front feet. Ended up making a shelf, so all is sorted now. Back to making some chips

    Samsung hotblast microwave

Crisping tray greatly improved chicken nuggets etc Various settings for the microwave power ,can be both advantage in not overcooking and disadvantage in more complications in choosing/finding the correct level. The booklet can be confusing to find the relevant information Ability to switch off the turntable for larger dishes shows flexibility Obviously the combination of oven, grill and microwave can improve many dishes

Excellent so far, haven't used all features yet... larger than expected but because it opens downward there is enough space to rest hot food when taking out.
