Given this has an electronic door opener that requires power, I'm not sure if it was an intentional joke or a poor oversight, but the instruction booklet is shipped inside the microwave. The instruction booklet describes how to manually open the door in case of a power cut, which you can't get to without power.
That aside, It works well and is simple and intuitive to use. I only purchased the model with the grill function because the microwave-only model was out of stock (but the same price). I quickly found it handy though and preferable to using the grill in the main oven.
It is a little odd having such a huge fascia when the microwave itself is quite small, but it fills an integrated appliance gap nicely. The microwave has legs attached which makes installation quick and easy and given it has a 3-pin plug, it is a simple DIY job.
For those looking to appliance match - although it looks slightly different to AEG ovens from pictures, it is a perfect match to AEG ovens (the 6000 series at least) and both look very smart together in situ.
