The cooker hood is beautiful. Strong steel and shiny black. I love it. However, after paying an additional cost for a specific time slot between 20am and 2pm (I am disabled and live alone), in case, I needed help to move it, etc, I received a call around 7.15am to say it would arrive in 15 minutes! You can imagine the struggle that followed. Utter incompetence and totally avoidable. I would never use this supplier again. BTW, I sent feedback attached to an email request and it took a working week to get an automated - 'whoops, sorry we got it wrong - give us a call'. I don't think so. A price paid for a lesson learned. No substance behind the glossy exterior. Avoid.

I have been using this cooker hood for one week and I’m a bit disappointed by its performance. Even when I use one pot on the hob to boil water and cook rice, it doesn’t extract a huge amount, so droplets form on the filters and drop back on the surface of my new induction hob, which I have to wipe and dry all the time while cooking. Not to mention what happens when I cook 3 pots at the same time or how noisy it is even at the lowest extraction level. I am thinking to return it and ask for my money back. This product shouldn’t even be listed on ao.com as an option.

Not very happy with this purchase! I bought this as a replacement. I had read many reviews about it and I thought I was buying a good product, however this Smeg chimney is a lot noisier then the one I previously had despite having the same level of noise! If I have on the cooker a pan that will produce lots of steam, at some point the chimney filters will be liking greasy water over the pans! I must have a lid over my pans, otherwise my food will be ruined! The only reason why I haven’t returned it it’s because I have paid lots of money to get the old one removed and this one installed! Too expensive for the quality!

Fits perfectly with and works as intended.

Looks great, and an improvement on the previous version. However, it was only when the electrician came to fit that we realised we also needed charcoal filters, which AOL do not stock. I am currently trying to source a pair.

The product was delivered within the set time and they were all extremely friendly friendly and helpful. The product itself is nice and works brilliantly. My only drawback is the cable is much shorter that the one it replaced and I couldn’t stretch...had to move around things to get it to reach

This Smeg cooker hood is easy enough to fit and looks the part (which keeps the Mrs quiet for a while) it’s nothing fancy and I suspect it is a little more purely because it is a Smeg, but it does the job nicely.

A superb product. High gloss finish; strong steel. Not noisy. However, I paid £25 for 10:00 am to 2:00pm delivery on a specific date, being disabled. ao.com managed to get the day right. But, the delivery driver called the cottage at 7:00 am, to say he would be 15 minutes. Hardly rocket science and after feeding this back, no refund just a phone number to discuss. Accordingly, I will never either recommend, or use this supplier again. 5 stars for the product, 1 for ao.com.
