I cannot actually give any indication of the quality of the goods yet due to the fact it came with a broken piece, a scratched chimney, and missing the internal tubing and carbon filter both of which I have ordered separately from smegg at a cost of £91.00. Ok smegg are replacing the damaged parts free of charge but I cannot help but feel I wish I had never bought the product in the first place and definitely not ordered it from AO. NOT HAPPY

The cooker hood is lovely, like all Smeg products. However, it is not supplied with the required fitting essential for using it in recirculating mode. AO and their spares company have been no help in sourcing the part. Which makes it quite an expensive pair of lights above the stove. Great if you intend to vent the hood outside - in which case buy the venting kit too. If you need to recirculate - don't buy this model.

A great looking cooker hood works well however if you plan to use it to recirculate the there are no carbon filters supplied AO sent me one when ordering which was a cut to size and not a proper cartridge filter however they were very helpful and gave me a credit of double the value to replace and the parts are quit difficult to source ( kit fc900 ) also there is no ducting for inside the extending canopy when reaching to ceiling this had to be purchased sepperatly (150 mm flexible ducting ) with is inside the hood itself so quit disapointing the hood itself works well but is very flimsey especially the washable grease filters which are thin and will bend if not carefull removing them

Noisy and poor quality buttons that rattle around but does the job. Not really commensurate with SMEG quality or value - I think its made by a cheaper manufacture and re-branded by SMEG. AO were great the product is not so.

Looks great, but buttons are very flimsy and of poor quality. Pressing one moves the other 3 around, as if they aren't securely mounted to the metal skin. Unfortunately it's something you'll use every day - surprising they went for such cheap buttons.

Stylish and seems well made. Grease filters are easy to remove and clean and led lights are very good. Extraction is noisy on the highest setting but does work really well. One word of caution however, the minimum overall height measurement is for the chimney only and doesn’t include the extractor base. This adds about 4-5cm onto the overall minimum height!
