AEG quality on an induction hob that does the business
4/5
Bought as a replacement for a similar AEG electric hob - fitting was easy as the hole for old and new are identical - and external dimensions of hob itself are exactly the same.
Wiring box has terminals in a slightly different alignment, but nothing major and a slight mod of cable length didn't solve
Overall operation is good - Initially didn't think it was that quick at heating up - but use the P setting to boost (and invest in some decent induction pans) and you're good.
Haven't used the fancy bells and whistles like the timer or child locks so can't comment.
There is some fancy bluetooth style to auto-control an AEG extraction hob to align with cooking times, but as we don't have anything that 'la-de-da' it isn't an issue.
If your kitchen woes are all about how annoying it is to manually turn the extractor hood on, then go have a word with yourself ;)
Usual pros of induction (easy to clean, wipe down, looks slick) all apply as equally here as it does to other makes/ models.
