    So far so good

    4/5
Only used it a few times as its only just been installed this weekend, so still getting use to it. I'm really liking the P power function to boil quickly and that it automatically drops back down to setting 14. Also really like that the hob communicates to my AEG extractor hod , lights and fan come on automatically so I don't need to mess with it unless I want to.

Great product! Touch buttons are working even your fingers get wet! It won’t be working when I used entry level grade other brand model before!

AEG quality on an induction hob that does the business

    4/5
Bought as a replacement for a similar AEG electric hob - fitting was easy as the hole for old and new are identical - and external dimensions of hob itself are exactly the same. Wiring box has terminals in a slightly different alignment, but nothing major and a slight mod of cable length didn't solve Overall operation is good - Initially didn't think it was that quick at heating up - but use the P setting to boost (and invest in some decent induction pans) and you're good. Haven't used the fancy bells and whistles like the timer or child locks so can't comment. There is some fancy bluetooth style to auto-control an AEG extraction hob to align with cooking times, but as we don't have anything that 'la-de-da' it isn't an issue. If your kitchen woes are all about how annoying it is to manually turn the extractor hood on, then go have a word with yourself ;) Usual pros of induction (easy to clean, wipe down, looks slick) all apply as equally here as it does to other makes/ models. Smart but why is packaging not recyclable ?

    4/5
Smart looking and simple to use. Why are AEG (and others) still using packaging that does not recycle. This will be polluting the planet long after the hob has finished working. AO should use its buying power to insist that all supplier packaging is recyclable.

Good, but the hotplates need to be more visible.

    4/5
Good. My only comment about the hob is that it's harder to see the circles denoting the hotplates than it was on my last induction hob. They are very feint and, with the cooker light on, the refection doesn't help. It's therefore easy to find that the pans are only half on the hotplates.
