I needed to replace my old cheap induction hob and because I have quite a few AEG appliance which I am very happy with, I thought I would go for this hob. I am so disappointed with it. The P feature - good idea, but even if I use it followed by the number I want it to continue on, everything boils over and I am constantly mopping up, so I use it to bring to the boil quickly and then have to stand there reducing the heat manually by a couple until I get it to where I want it. If it does boil over and I have to mop up, it turns itself off so I have to wait a few minutes until I can turn it back on. If I try to have the large front ring on P and have something on one of the back ones, the back one will fluctuate between, say 12 and 2 until I turn the P feature off the front one. Such a pity I couldn't send it back but guess I am stuck with it now!

Pleased with this hob, my introduction to using induction. Bought a silicone cover that you can cook through, as I've heard this type of hob can scratch. Sometimes have to press a few times on panel to change settings, but that's only a minor inconvenience

Only used it a few times as its only just been installed this weekend, so still getting use to it. I'm really liking the P power function to boil quickly and that it automatically drops back down to setting 14. Also really like that the hob communicates to my AEG extractor hod , lights and fan come on automatically so I don't need to mess with it unless I want to.
