Faulty from the start and useless extended warranty

    1/5
Absolute rubbish. Purchased this oven in September 2021 and have had to have the elements replaced 6 times in just over 2 years. The extended warranty won’t give a replacement even though there’s obviously a fault with the oven because the insurance offers “unlimited repairs”. That’s all well and good except you have to keep taking days off work every 3 to 6 months to be home for the engineer to repair it. And that’s assuming they actually turn up with the right part every time! Oh and they damaged the surround doing the last repair and have not fixed it or provided compensation. Absolute shambles.

    wouldn't buy again

I have purchased many indesit appliances over the years and this is the last Indesit oven I will buy. The drip tray is slightly too big and just scratches the runners. The timer doesn't ping if it is less than 10 min. the instruction booklet is lacking. All round the build quality is not there. On the plus side, it does seem to be very energy efficient. The indesit washing machine purchased at the same time is brilliant.

Not happy with product at all after 5 wks of food taking longer to cook had to get engineer out to which my thermostat is faulty not coming back upto temp plus grill stays on when oven is heating up but this is normal have had undesirable ovens for 15 urs never had problem until now

    Don't waste you money

Less then 2 years old and oven does not heat up, only grill works. One would have thought they would improve on reliability but sadly somethings don't change. Don't waste your money on Indesit products spend a bit more and get something that last more then 2 years.

    Terrible

    1/5
Terrible product. Heating element failed just out of the warranty period. We also bought 2 Indesit dishwashers for rental flats and both failed just out of warranty. Avoid this brand at all costs. Cheap and nasty and made to fail.

Will not be buying Indesit again

Had this oven 14 months and had numerous problems. Within 6 months the light bulb went and within a year the timer stopped working. Despite 2 engineer visits the timer issue has not been resolved. It is now 14 months old and 2 days before Christmas it stopped cooking food through and only grills the top. I have now gone without oven food over Christmas. Indesit engineers only come out Monday to Friday. As a nurse who works Monday to Friday, during a pandemic is really not the time for me taking time off work for this. They should be more flexible. Overall extremely disappointed and will be buying a new oven.

Oven only lasted 16 months before it stopped working. Warranty only 1 year so not covered.
