    Overall Happy

    4/5
The oven was easy to fit as it plugged straight in. It’s got a good size cavity for the price and the different settings are useful for different food types. The food has cooked well and in good time with heat distribution really good. One issue is that the fan turns on when you turn the oven off which is quite loud as we have open plan kitchen/living room. Over all very happy, Shane about the loud fan. 4 stars****

Less energy efficient than it claims

    2/5
Despite being energy efficient when cooking, we realised it's actually quite energy intensive in standby. It also has an annoying fan function to cool down after use - seems a waste of time and energy really

Loud cooling fan after cooking finishes

    2/5
Good oven, except the cooling fan runs for ages after cooking is finished, at least 30mins it seems, and the cooling fan is really quite loud, louder than when the oven is cooking! Returning to get one with a quieter cooling fan.

    Pyrolytic not brilliant

    3/5
As an oven ... it's OK... as a self clean oven, so far it's rubbish... 2 hours it takes on pyro option and turns very minor spills etc to ash. Instructions say to leave until filthy but I couldn't... didn't touch some parts of oven ... not overly impressed... have just put a Pyrex dish of water in bottom to try steam it clean? ... I'd have been better with cheap option and a cleaner once a month lolx

    Indesit IFW3841PIXUK Review

    5/5
The oven is brilliant, be careful with the dimensions on the instructions as the plug is really fat and stopped me pushing the oven back to the back of the cabinet. I ended up fitting an extension lead and running it into the cabinet beside the oven. The oven has lots of features but is not complicated. When purchased the over is set in high power mode, you need to put it in low power mode to install properly. The instructions tell you how to do this. One warning, wear gloves when installing as the stainless steel is razor sharp and cuts thumbs very easily. Only downside is that Domestic General pester you to buy their extended warranty. The included 10 year warranty for parts is £124.99 for each call out. 2 Callouts and you could buy a new oven.

    New oven

    5/5
Very pleased with my new oven cooks my food great every time. The keep warm feature is great no need for hot plates. It does everything that I need it to, haven’t used the pyro setting yet but can’t wait guess I need to do more cooking n make more mess ????

    Noisy and Complicated.

    4/5
The cooling fan that comes on after the oven is not in use is far too loud, if the door isn’t left open this goes off for 20 - 30 minutes, however if you leave the door open this drops to 5 - 10 minutes, still far too loud especially for open plan living room and diner. This oven is also over complicated to use as they is lots of settings, I don’t think I would use them all but only time can tell. However it cooks food perfectly and doesn’t take too long to warm up.
