    Hate it

    1/5
Not sure if mine is just faulty but it is the slowest cooker I have ever owned , takes well over an hour to cook something that should take 20minutes, I have sausages in the oven now , which are still only half cooked after 45 minutes at 200 degrees. Only had the cooker since March and hate it .

I bought an indesit built under double oven electric and I would never buy an indesit again as the oven door has exploded twice now and whirlpool are sending an engineer to fit another , I would never be comfortable using the oven again and as it’s used by a tenant I’m sure they won’t be b

    Do not buy indesit

I bought my Indesit cooker from AO last March. It's now out of warranty and malfunctioning. Can't get through to .Indesit on their service line. The internet is littered with complaints about their service and support so I have decided to spend more on a much higher quality product through AO AO great company to do business with. Indesit no.

    Only one oven shelf..!

    2/5
I’ve had an Indesit oven in the past so I was happy to buy again. Overall the product is good but there is one major downside to this double oven… there is only ONE shelf in the main oven..!! This is not clear from the information available on the website. I thought a shelf was missing and spent an age on the phone to an agent only to discover that this model only has one shelf..! The shelf from the top oven does fit but is not as deep. My old Indesit double oven had two shelves - as you would expect in a main oven. The delivery service was five star, shame about the single shelf.

    Basic simple to use oven

This oven was bought to replace an identical one which was approximately 10 years old. We only really bought an identical one because we didn't have plans to revamp our kitchen so it was an easy job to take out the old one and fit in the new one... These are very basic ovens. We had problems with the previous one, seals and door closure giving uneven bakes. Mrs C. threw in the towel when the Christmas cake burnt on one side... The new one is doing the job, better bakes but I've promised her a better quality oven if we move or redesign the kitchen.

    Disappointed!

The main oven has issues that I’m surprised haven’t been mentioned in other reviews. Firstly, it only comes with one shelf and will cost around £30 to buy an additional one. Secondly it’s small, so if you need to use two shelves, you’ll need to place the lower shelf right at the bottom of the oven to accommodate average size baking trays containing an average amount of food.. for example you’ll get a meat joint on the higher shelf but your potatoes will need to be cooked at the very lowest point of the oven, just a couple of inches from the oven floor...getting the hot dish out at that level is a bit tricky when it’s hot as it’s so close to the open oven door! Thirdly, the main oven is much lower than it looks in the pictures so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have back problems. The main oven is fan assisted and cooks ‘okay’ but definitely need to keep turning the baking trays whilst cooking as it’s hotter on one side than the other.. not normally a problem but a pest moving the trays on the bottom shelf for reasons mentioned above! Thankfully, I usually only need to cook for two. The top oven and grill is fine, the grill tray slightly small and it doesn’t sit completely flush on the shelf.. needs wiggling about to sit straight. Very sharp parts which sit under the counter but be careful when unpacking! The door handles are slightly rough too. Fitting it wasn’t too bad but a spanner would have been really helpful. I’m not one to write bad reviews and I understand that it’s at the lower end price wise but I’m honestly surprised that these things haven’t been raised as they are quite basic design issues. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this double oven! ??

Had to open up the oven panel to put a couple of screws in properly. Pretty poorly manufactured - holes weren't drilled properly. Was going to return but couldn't be bothered with the hassle. Delivery was good.

Looks great. But let down with poor quality control. Faulty Appliance

One of the side rails in the main oven collapsed it had not been welded and new cooker lovely Sunday roast fell to the bottom of the oven. The grill cut out half way through cooking burgers and did not come back on until about an hour later. The main oven cooks faster on the left than on the right means that you have to regularly open the door and let the heat out while you turn your roasting tin. On the whole a poor choice of oven. AO. Have arranged that an Indesit Engineer is coming out to look at it. A very big disappointment for a new oven
