Inadequate Product equally inadequate service from manufacturer

I have owned this product for 6 months, 3 months into ownership the seal on the top oven failed. I have contacted Whirlpool/Indesit 4 times over the last 3 months to request a replacement seal, they have failed to supply the seal each time and are unable to state why. Consequently I have been unable to use a 1/3 of my appliance for 3 months. Irrespective of how the product looks or performs, Whirlpool's customer service is so woofully inadequate that I would not buy an appliance from them no matter how good the deal.
