Much better suction than the older model we have. Bought in particular to deal with dog and cat hairs and it is pretty effective for this. It is also very effective for diferent surfaces within the home, ie carpet wooden floor, tiled floor.

Needs a second battery, otherwise great.

This is just fantastic! I love the lights on the front, it cleans super well and the fact that it comes apart in so many ways means it's helpful to do all the hard jobs like the stairs. The main vaccum is powerful enough to not even need the pet hair section!

Great hoover. Prefer this cordless to the usual ones Shark do as you can free stand it like a normal upright hoover and it won't fall over! Very easy to use with various speed settings meaning you don't have to rinse the battery unless you want to do a more deeper hoover! Easy to empty the container and unlike previous models I've owned, it empties out much easier without the need to having to get your hand inside to pull out the dirt that's stuck! I love the way it charges as you simply remove the battery and pop it into the docking station. I have worn out batteries quicker in the past by plugging the hoover directly into the lead and forgetting about it, with this the docking station is on the window sill therefore I charge until it indicates its full and then I switch off to prevent over charging! There is a digital indicator so you know how much battery you have remaining which is handy! Lift away function allows you to reach awkward spaces easily. I just love it!!!!

Generally really good, could just do with a bit better battery life

Very disappointed. Upgraded from a corded Shark the first model sent had a faulty battery /charger unit- customer service very helpful although having to waste more electric with attempted trouble shooting. The arrangement was then made to exchange the whole unit. This left me without a hoover for a couple of days …..no biggie except in a household of 5 adults, 4 cats & 2 house bunnies it proved challenging. The replacement exchange was on time, delivery guy was brilliant & polite, Thank you Shark for this. The replacement is a poor ‘upgrade’, in my experience, the battery drops to 80% within a couple of minutes , maximum amount of time so far is 20mins before the battery dies. This then requires a minimum of 3-4hours electric every time - I can hoover my home in less than an hour & half ! The suction does not compete with my previous hoover however the attachments are useful, especially the lift away option. Either I am jinxed and have received another dodgy hoover or the marketing of ‘up to 60 mins ‘ is based on the minimum suction hard floor setting- either way I am sorely disappointed - Apologies Shark - an honest review
