Before buying this fridge I read all the reviews, and they sounded fairly favourable. Well, in my 60 years I have never heard a noisier fridge. Every few minutes there is a sound like five loud bangs on my front door. Indesit assures me this is perfectly normal. Well … this is not the sound I want to hear at 2 am, 3 am … Just horrible.

Excellent fridge freezer, much quieter than my last one and holds a lot for it’s size. Wonderful addition to any kitchen. Would highly recommend it.

Purchased to replace an aging fridge freezer and this Indesit is quieter and easier to set the fridge temperature between 0 and 5 degrees. The energy rating is better than the outgoing unit and it has been noted that the compressor noise in on less frequently, hence should cost less to run

This fridge is ideal for small spaces, especially as I have a barrelled roof and found it difficult to locate a fridge/freezer that fitted the right dimensions but this is perfect. It's good value for money, its neat and compact and has just the right amount of storage that I need for the amount of food and drink I buy within a week. The design of the fridge looks good, with the logo and plain front that fits seamlessly into my white kitchen. I also like that the door can be switched over to open either left or right as this is more convenient when unloading the shopping.
