Fantastic and Disappointing at the same time

    1/5
Bought this Dryer 16 months ago, and up until now it has been absolutely fantastic, clothes dried perfectly, quite and quick. Unfortunately, only 4 months after the 12 month warranty, one of the bearing units has broken (note that this dryer has not been moved since we installed it, so it has broken during general use). Even more unfortunate, this bearing unit happens to be one of the few components that no-one (including hoover themselves) stocks spares for, so now it is broken for good....not great for a £450 item. And not great for a component that is known to wear down and break over time on any product it is used in. In summary, good dryer, but be prepared to have to buy one every year......

Don’t bother with heat pumps dryers

    2/5
Don’t bother with a heat pump dryer. Unless u wanna wait 3 hours to dry 1 load and much longer if your drying some bath towels. .. I paid more money for a better machine but boy was I wrong….

    Hoover H-DRY 300

We bought this dryer to replace our old vented dryer, wow what a difference. Clothes come out of the dryer ready to hang up or ready to iron depending on which program you select from the 14 available. Don't be put off by the time it shows on the info screen for drying as the dry sensor takes over and reduces the time automatically. Bonus point this dryer uses less power than our old vented one and warms the room it is in at the same time. Note when first setting it up make sure you select the correct language as changing it later is a bit of a pain, The instruction booklet you get from Hoover is in my opinion next to useless best way is to watch a video on YouTube it is much easier to follow. I would recommend this dryer to anyone thinking of purchasing a new one.

    Cheap to run!

    5/5
Our first condenser dryer anjd so far so good. This is a 'heat pump' type which maximises the warm air circulation and creates virtually zero condensation. The door mounted water reservoir collects huge quantities of water, ideal for our steam iron! The machine is a little noisy, with a low level 'bump thump' noise but not too intrusive. It does not appear to have a 'reverse' action and ocassionally some of the washing is a bit wrapped round itself, but this is not a major problem. The best feature though is the low running cost compared to our previous vented machime. We've not explored the wi-fi operation as yet as it's much simpler to just set it using the front panel controls. All in all an excellent machine.

    Terrible

    5/5
Absolutely terrible dryer. Huge moisture leakage, sensor drying works by saying “1 minute left” for hours. Door looks flimsy and plasticky.

Terrible all Round (Stick to your Condenser Dryer)

Seriously, this is a terrible product. It doesn't do what it's supposed to do. It's cheaply made the program selector has a cheap feel to it. The WiFi doesn't work. It takes ages and ages to get the fabrics to what can only be described as damp.

Takes 2 hours to dry 1 load

Looks great, nice and quiet but takes 2 hours to dry 1 load so doing the washing now takes twice as long. Never 100% dry

    Nice one!

This machine is well made, it is a little noisy but since it is in a outside building it's not a problem, however there are a few facts you might like to know before buying if you have never used this type of dryer :- 1, Don't place it where the temperature is likely to drop below 5'C, this is because there is always a reservoir of water in the machine once it has been filled from the first couple of drying cycles. 2, The controlling buttons are of the touch type like a smartphone. 3, There is a waste water removal kit included 4, Wi-Fi is only an option on this machine and will operate without it being selected All in all it's a good machine :)
