Easy to use. Very controllable with 15 heat settings if you include the half settings and the keep warm minimum. Timers can be set for each place, handy for juggling different pots on the hob. Auto switch off safety feature is reassuringly efficientbut be careful if you spill anything or the whole job switches itself off.

A replacement for our previous similar-style hob as we wanted the same functions and style (to match the built under oven). However, new is not improved, as there is no option to go straight to hotplate temp setting value 3 or 9 (have to go up through each setting), no option to select 'fast boil' during the cooking time if required and after switching a hotplate off there is only a big H to indicate residual temperature, which doesn't change to little h as it gets close to cool. Overall slightly disappointed.

Loving my new hob, it was easy to order and get the information i required about it. Layout is perfect and love the ring sizes especially the top right where it extends enabling me to use a griddle with ease. Heats up very quickly and timer really useful as can use on each ring. The only thing i don't like is that once cleaned it doesn't stay as pristine as my previous hob which is a little annoying

It's a good hob but the safety features are frustrating. If you have a pan on a hob, and you put a pan or a plate or something on another hob that isn't turned on the hob automatically turns the whole thing off. I wish there was a way to disable this feature.

I absolutely love this hob. I cook from scratch and my last hob was badly designed. This hob has each plate in the right zone and the extra heat on two of the plates are idea for using larger pans and cast iron casserole dishes, the half heat increments come in handy if you are cooking something delicate. Little features like being able to switch from high to off by pressing the up and down buttons simultaneously are so useful. It looks good too. I’m delighted with it.

This lovely AEG hob replaced and equally lovely NEFF which was damaged despite its age. This proved ideal for my elderly mother to move away from knobs and she is really enjoying working with it. It’s heat settings are 1-9 with a dot to indicate a half measure eg 8.5. This offers great control over our cooking experience eg stir frying, simmering. Our little niece still managed to unlock the lock out simply by randomly pressing anywhere as it is near to the front. It cleans really well and suits our kitchen.
