If you are replacing an existing old AEG hob of the same external dimensions, the recess will need enlarging..

This wasn't the hob I'd picked, but as the one I had picked was out of stock Boots VERY kindly upgraded me to this one. It's lovely, very easy to keep clean and looks superb. My only niggle is the alarm that goes off if an item is placed on the hob if it's not switched on. I don't have a huge amount of work surface and would like sometimes to put my recently drained pans onto the areas that are not hot. I'm sure you must be able to switch the alarm off, but that would entail reading the book!! Doesn't heat up very quickly - but I've been spoiled by having an induction hob at the rental property.

This was a replacement hob for our old AEG hob and I love it . The touch controls are super and easy to use . I would recommend this hob.

It's a good hob but the safety features are frustrating. If you have a pan on a hob, and you put a pan or a plate or something on another hob that isn't turned on the hob automatically turns the whole thing off. I wish there was a way to disable this feature.

Get a cable to connect unit up. Easily installed two screws. Heat is powerful door view fantastic . Build quality is usual high standard . Very happy with purchase
