A replacement for our previous similar-style hob as we wanted the same functions and style (to match the built under oven). However, new is not improved, as there is no option to go straight to hotplate temp setting value 3 or 9 (have to go up through each setting), no option to select 'fast boil' during the cooking time if required and after switching a hotplate off there is only a big H to indicate residual temperature, which doesn't change to little h as it gets close to cool. Overall slightly disappointed.

Very smart looking hob. Easy to use controls, but watch out for unwanted AUTOMATIC heating: I suppose that I'll get used to it as I haven't had it installed for a week yet; i'm still getting used to it. I particularly like the extendable heating zones for when you use larger pans! Easy to install as a replacement. Good buy!

I am really happy with my AEG Hob, attractive appearance and the stainless steel rim goes well with my kitchen decor. I had an electric cooker earlier and this is such a better upgrade. I like the fact that there is the extension option on the back right ring and the double ring at the front left, helps with cooking in bigger pots and pans. The touch controls are easy to use and clearly marked. Heats up quickly and works on high power than my previous cooker, but is energy efficient. Knob-less feature and ceramic surface makes it easy to clean. Very pleased with my purchase.

Fab hob. Replaced my Smeg hob with it and absolutely delighted. The stainless surround is smart and should protect the ceramic from edge chips inflicted by the flamboyant chef! Check, check and triple check the cut out size in the worktop for this hob; it is a standard size, but the clips don’t have a lot of tolerance and there are no clamps. That said, fitting is a doddle and it drops right in. I can’t really imagine what more you’d want from a hob, or what extra you might get for more money. Excellent

This is a replacement of an old AEG hob. Functionally it is the same we are very keen that you can individually time all 4 rings. The other good feature is the stainless steel surround this stops you chipping the edge of the glass . .

Bought this to replace an ageing Hob, the rings are much more efficient than our old one, touch controls easy to use and the stainless steel surround finishes off an excellent looking product

Easy to use. Very controllable with 15 heat settings if you include the half settings and the keep warm minimum. Timers can be set for each place, handy for juggling different pots on the hob. Auto switch off safety feature is reassuringly efficientbut be careful if you spill anything or the whole job switches itself off.
