I bought this hob as a back up for my Aga. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, looks nice, but is an utter utter pain to clean. I have used a Neff hob in the past and it was easy peasy to keep clean, shiny and mark free. This is a nightmare. Although I wipe it after every use, I then have to spray it with Mr Muscle, leave it, wipe it again, then rub at it with Hob Heaven . I wouldn't buy this hob again I'm afraid, but would opt for a more expensive make. Shame.

It basically works OK and is cheap and looks fine. Problems are with the controls. It's hard to see either the markings on the hob surface or the pointers on the knobs. Also, rather than being continuously variable, the knobs have 6 set positions, meaning it can't be set low enough for simmering a small quantity.

Slower than my previous hob to get hot and heat the pans. Overall for the price it’s reasonable.

Product is fine. However, the product was delivered on the due date but much MUCH earlier than the time slot that I paid for it.

Always used gas up until now. Had no choice but to go electric. No where near as versatile as gas and the change in cooking style needs getting used to, but not bad and does the job.

So difficult to clean. Even if u havnt spilt anything on it, it has condensation water marks on it that need astonish to grind them out. We have to spend 20 mins cleaning every time we use it.

As much as I love this product, Two of the four rings were severely scratched just from using them once. Not sure whether you need to have 'special' pans to use on the hob but I guess that's my fault for not checking. Apart from that - fantastic. Just a bit upset that it scratched so easily...
