To get one of the burners to light requires holding the knob down for an excessive length of time. Having achieved this the max heat is good but it does not turn down low enough to be able to simmer satisfactorily.

So far, so good. Seems to be more efficient than the last hob and heats stuff up quicker. The cast iron pot stands are a big improvement on the old springy ones.b

accurate size measurement, but quite bulky under the counter so makes it a bit tricky to fit. Looks very good when fitted though! It doesn't come with an electrical wire, so keep the wire from the previous hob or be ready to buy a new wire.

we bought this hob to replace a wire stand one. the pan stand s are really solid and stop pan movement. they give you confidence there will be no tipping. looks great! only slight negative the knobs feel a bit delicate when turning on.

Basic no frills all rounder. Does what you want and expect at a reasonable price.

Lovely looking item. The 'wok' hob with its double gas ring is great.
