    Product OK, service poor

    3/5
Dishwasher works fine but still waiting (3 weeks later) for replacement parts so that the door panel can be fitted. Very poor effort from Hoover/ AO to get this sorted in a timely manner. Currently having to weigh down the door with a paint tin when it’s open to still put springing back and catapulting my dishes across the kitchen!!

    Terrible appliance

    2/5
Terrible dishwasher, touch sensitive pad is ok for a while then takes about 5 minutes to get the dishwasher to do what you want. After 1.5 years the touch sensitive pad has failed. Just avoid

    Good for the price.

The only reason I bought this brand is because it was the only semi integrated dishwasher available and I needed to replace my old one that had stopped working. I would have preferred a Bosch, AEG or Hotpoint. I'll start with the good points. Most importantly it washes well, is slightly more spacious than my 17 year old Bosch, has all the programs I need and it is reasonably quiet. However I'm convinced that it was designed by someone who has never used a dishwasher in their entire life! Having the cutlery basket at the back is very inconvenient but I've overcome this problem by using my old Bosch basket which has grooves that enable it to sit over the front right hand side plate racks. The space at the back where it should sit is soon filled by a large pan or salad bowl so no space is wasted. Also the the touch controls are easily accidentally activated simply by brushing past the machine. I can't see the point of having an app that allows you control the dishwasher from your phone when you still have to push two controls on the front of the machine every time you want to switch it on via the app! A bit of an unnecessary gimmick in my opinion. But all-in-all, good value for money and it looks good.

    Quiet dishwasher.

Very quiet dishwasher seems larger inside than our last one. Washes dishes well. East to fit and adjust to existing fitted kitchen .Controls take some getting used to. Cutlery basket would be better at the front of the lower drawer.

Good value machine with poor fitting instructions

    4/5
The dishwasher is excellent in its cleaning but the quality of the information provided for installation is sadly lacking which made the fitting of the door panel more complicated than it needed to have been, the dimensions provided were irrelevant - just measure the centre of the sockets on the appliance and transfer that to create the bracket positions on your door panel . There is also no mention that once fitted the plastic bracket grips the side of the appliance door and consequently you need to lever these out to release the door panel for final fixing/tightening of the brackets. A further installation note = on leveling the appliance, the adjusting screw on the front bottom panel needs to be turned anticlockwise to lower the back leg. The power supply lead is a bit shorter than I have been used to with other machines and could cause issues for some. The basket arrangement seems effective but find the 'stop' on the bottom basket frustrating as it makes the loading a bit more difficult at the back of the basket and makes the picking up of any dropped cutlery items for instance from the body of the machine inconvenient. As yet have not attempted to action the wifi modes as this seems superfluous

Not bad, but has some irritating issues

A pretty standard machine that seems to clean well. Controls are not easy to understand: read the manual carefully. Odd decision to put the cutlery rack at the back, this makes it awkward and fiddly to use unless you take it out each time. Overall not a stellar machine, but there is not much choice now for semi-integrated dishwashers, and this seems good enough.

    A very good semi-integrated option

    4/5
very effective at cleaning and drying dishes, and not too loud. One of the only semi-integrated machines now on the market and would buy it again. Controls take a little getting used to, but perfectly straightforward once you get the knack. Cons: door springs up even with fascia door fitted, design of racks is not brilliant (very flexible, but the trade-off is that there is not an area that is particularly good at holding glasses, for example), and even the 'quick' cycles are 2+ hours.
