    Horrendous Hotpoint dual cooker!!!

    1/5
Hotpoint HDM67G9C2CX/U Dual fuel cooker - BEWARE!!!!! The burner stands are slippery and my pots and pans kept sliding off the cooker while cooking, for safety reasons I had to return the cooker. Also note that the grill door has to be opened to use the grill (not stated in the Hotpoint manual) so if you have a tiny kitchen, think twice before purchasing. Best practice inspect appliances, undertake due diligence research and read reviews before committing to purchases in the future.

I don't like this product. I chose hotpoint because I like my previous cooker that was also hotpoint. The Cooker seems to cook uneven it cooks more at the front than the back. The hob is unsteady pans wobble due to the design and the enamel has already scratched off after only a few months. When the glass cover is up and the cooker is on steam collects on the hob making a puddle of water it seems like a bad design. The timmer is very quiet and I struggle to hear it when in my living room. I have tried to email hotpoint about the enamel wearing off after only a few months but I am yet to receive a reply. Iv give it two stars for the look of it only. I would not recommend

    Good Looker with Design Faults

    3/5
Nice looking duel fuel cooker however, the larger oven is very low to access, the saucepans etc do slide across the metal stands over the hobs (as a previous review had said), which could be dangerous. Also there is a large gap between the glass top and cooker . Not sure if it is because it is new but it took about 2 hours to cook a very small chicken on 180-200. The control knobs not straight forward, nice cooker but definitely with some design faults.

    great cooker

Great product. Does everything you need. My only criticism is the lid doesn't go down enough so there is a gap

    Good with few disadvantages

Good looking , helpful numbered dials . Easy to use and clean . Only disadvantage is some movement on rack over burners when stirring etc

    Hotpoint cooker.

Looks great. Control knobs for the gas work well, very easy to lower or raise the gas flow. Glass top a nice feature. Good spacious oven.

Works well, a couple of niggles though

Had this for a couple of weeks so still getting used to it. The gas burners are alot more pokey than I'm used to, but they have 10 settings so easy to control. The oven and grill both seem good, coming upto temperature reasonably quickly. I like the click and clean for the glass! Didn't get 5 stars as I still can't set the clock.... there isn't a function button for the clock, you have to turn the main power fuse off if it isn't done upon installation. The other issue is water stain marks as it's steel...I found rubbing a half lemon and a microfiber cloth over then worked, but a bit of a pain
