    Would Not Buy Again

    2/5
Replaced a 15 year old cast iron range cooker with this model from Hotpoint as one of the ovens was not working and it was starting to rust. The Hotpoint has it's pros but also some cons. Pros - two ovens. Inside oven door easily removable for cleaning. Cons - grill in the smaller oven difficult to get right level of heat. Grill takes ages to cook food. When grill is on the knobs above get very, very hot. The pan supports are nothing short of an accident waiting to happen. Pans slide all over the place and, in fact, one of my pans slipped and fell onto the floor recently shedding the contents. I certainly would not buy this cooker again and would definitely not recommend anyone else does. Wish I could return it!

    Hotpoint Cooker

Cooker didn’t work when installed by qualified gas engineer so have had to request a repair engineer to inspect the faults. FSD not working on left hand side of hob and bottom oven not working as gas comes on then goes out. So disappointed as usually products from AO are so good.

    Great

I love the cooker , the only thing what was wrong it didn't come with a chain to fit it to the wall and a gas pipe so I had to go out and buy them , I think they should of really been supplied with the Cooke , but apart from that it's a lovely cooker

    Disappointing

    1/5
Really disappointed in this cooker. The fact that the glass lid just sits on what looks to be silicon stoppers on the hob racks looks cheap and, to be honest, like the the lid was an after thought and not sure how long the stoppers will last.

    Good cooker with some shortcomings

    4/5
The grill performance is not as good as my old cooker. The aluminium strip at the back is silver in colour on a black cooker it sticks out like a sore thumb. The top oven has no lamp. The glass lid has a large black warning graphic that is permanent, the glass lid has no spring or damping, let it go and it hits the pan support a mighty whack. The timer beeper is very quiet and simply not heard when my extractor fan is on. The timer cannot be set in seconds only full minutes, I like my boiled egg cooked for 3 mins 30 seconds. The pan supports only have four prongs, my pans tip unless they are carefully positioned. The ovens work well, the ignitors work well, the hob burners give a good selection of size. The cable for plugging in is a bit short. The grill pan is too small.

    Not great.

It’s ok… I think for the price we paid we expected a little more. The door feels a little flimsy (had to check a few times it was actually closed) When you put a pan on the top you have to place it carefully so it doesn’t tip, which I feel to be quite dangerous, especially with hot oil. The glass top doesn’t feel like it will last very long. The grill is particularly irritating… you have to drag it back out with the grill handle upside down to be able to get it into a position to put the handle in place properly. Basically poorly thought out, definitely not worth the money.

Looks good. Taller than expected when lid closed.

Looks nice. Still trying to adjust to cooking times and retrain myself. The lid design makes the whole unit sit higher than the worktops, which is a bit frustrating.

    Stopped working after one week

After one week the top oven no longer works and internal pieces are falling off. Repair engineer is two weeks away
