Don't be fooled by the German sounding brand name Haier as it is a Chinese make . We bought a new tumble dryer as our 11 year old AEG vented tumble dryer's heater component stopped working. Being such an old machine it didn't seem worth having it repaired even if one could get the parts. Persuaded by 'Which' magazine to go for a heat pump machine this time and looking at the favourable reviews we bought this model in December 2022 but have regretted it since. It takes forever to complete a cycle-typically 2 and 1/2 hours and clothes aren't always well dried then. In August the door catch broke and the Hoover/Candy engineer who covers Haier products admitted it was a very flimsy piece of plastic. The top and side panels of the machine had to be removed to access the broken catch and as he does not carry the spare part he could only repair it with superglue as a temporary repair. The replacement catch has taken 5 weeks to arrive. I am expecting more of the same trouble in the future and I shall be looking more carefully at the country of origin for products in future

Pros Great washing machine, quiet and good load size, lots of dry options, water dispenser empties directly into the drain Cons Programs take a lot of navigating, doesn't weigh laundry and determine dry cycle time. Basic program is 2 hours 30 mins most times not always dry (used to have my old on on for 2 hours and always dry) Need to have more of an explore to get the settings just right for us

Works better than we expected.The instructions could have been clearer(who has silk stockings these days?).Disappointed to find it was made in china. Overall very happy so far.

wonderful. Does exactly what we need, and quiet too, easy to clean and use,so happy with this heat pump dryer,the only little thing we miss is acustics on the controls.

Good drying performance

Works well. Nice and quiet. Large drum. Be warned, the product description for the size is off. It says 600mm deep, that's only the top, it's actually 680mm. Instructions for switching the door hinge are also wrong, fiddly job but manageable.

Love the product! Makes life so much easier being able to use it through Wi-Fi. It means I can put items in the tumble dryer, set the program and then start but also can keep an eye on the time so I know when it is going to finish.

Excellent product. Clothes much trier than older tumble dryer which required a vent. Very quiet and easy to use.
