    Only dries clothes eventually.

This is a terrible dryer. No matter what setting and how big or small the load, nothing dries unless it has been put through a minimum of two times. I got someone out to check the dryer and there is nothing wrong with it. I have tried every setting and some loads (like towels and sheets) need 3-4 attempts. I bought it for the energy consumption but it looks like I sacrificed the actual function of the dryer.

    Poor performance

    1/5
4.5 hours to dry 2 towels! The clothes take so long to dry and even at the end of the cycle still feel damp and need to be aired. When I rang to speak to Haier they said these dryers are great for small families, and it’s perfectly normal for it to take over 4 hours to dry a small load, not sure why they don’t state that in the write up before people purchase. Very expensive for a poor performance item.

    Best Tumble Dryer Ever

    5/5
This is the best tumble dryer that I have ever owned, I have owned and used a dryer every day since I got married in 1979 and I can honestly say this is the best one so far. It is very quiet and so easy and uncomplicated. It dries nicely and you can even program it on wrinkle free, which is very useful. I have not used fabric softener with this machine as it softens the clothes automatically without it. And most importantly it is cheaper to run than the others that I have owned because this uses a heat pump which means that it heats the clothes by reusing the heat that it has already built up in the machine. And another thing I like is that it gives a little tumble every half an hour if you want it to so the clothes don’t come out all screwed up if you are not able to empty it straight away. There are so many things that I like about it and I honestly cannot think of a single thing that I do not like. I also really like the look of the machine in my opinion it is rather stylish.

    Horrible

We bought Haier I-pro 7serie by AO for £600 it is incredibly noisy! like a bulldozer. when I turn it on, at that moment I feel that the apocalypse and an earthquake have come to our house. I can't hear my own words or the TV. and customer service AO ?? The lady on call joined to our call the guy from manufacture company Haier. the guy on the call was so annoying, we turned on their dryer over the phone - the guy and lady were speechless... he lied! he said that this is fine, this is how it should be humming. our washing machine is 70Db noise level and this dryer is 63db and it's a million times louder than the washing machine.. and he said it's ok.. He said that my husband is being sarcastic! customer service is below freezing! incorrect ! the dryer arrived at my home, we had to wait 2 hours to be able to turn it on, we have a 30-day return guarantee and the guy didn't want to accept it as a return! because they say it's not wrong! it's clearly a faulty product or they're just misleading customers that their dryers are super quiet... they don't want to take it back from us! AO after 2hours want from us 10% from product price because it’s unpacked and used ! It was just tried on empty and straight to report faulty which they didn’t accept… the guy said we have to using dryer and then the noises will lost ??. Never ! we have dryer 3days and we’re waiting for engineer on Friday!

Economical but can still come out damp

    4/5
Pretty good but would expect a bit more for the price. The good... Water is easy to empty as is the filter. It's much more economical than the old tumble dryer. The bad... There's no programme I can find to make the clothes perfectly dry, other than setting it off for another cycle. Luckily it costs so little to run it doesn't matter. I suppose the advantage of this is you're not baking your clothes, which is a bit kinder to them. Will continue to experiment and maybe things will improve.

    Rubbish

I have had this tumble dryer for nearly a year now. It's the biggest waste of money, yes it is probably cheaper to run than say a condenser one but when you take into account it's on for about 4 hours just to try a towel load. This thing dose not heat up enough If like me you have quite a lot of washing it's frustrating to have piles waiting to dry. Don't waste your money just get a condenser.

    Really Impressed

    5/5
Really quiet machine and very noticeable build quality difference from our previous Hotpoint condenser drier in a positive way. Looks the part, low running costs, and doesn't take an age to dry like some reviews indicate. The only complaint that I have is the drier is advertised with a 5 year warranty, where in fact it comes with a 2 year warranty where you can then take a policy out at less than 4 pounds a month to extend it, which isn't what AO advertise.

    Finally have fluffy towels

    5/5
Excellent product. We bought this to match our washing machine. The pre-settings are really good and it is very cost effective. I mainly wanted it to have fluffy towels and the towel setting is my dream come true. Yes it takes longer than a normal tumble dryer as it is a heat pump BUT well worth the time for how energy efficient it is.
