    Dent

    2/5
When unpacked there was a chip/dent on the top corner. Was advised to send a photo to [email protected] which I did but still waiting for a reply!

    Cooks longer than expected

    3/5
So far i have not been as impressed as id hoped. This doesn’t cook to temperature so gas 4 for 15mins means you have to leave it for another 10 mins at least. Heat escapes from top oven so have to be careful when touching the top of the oven as can easily burn yourself, and the glass top really needed a gentle close . Have to be so careful, ive only had it installed and running for 5 days and im yet to be impressed!!

    Fun size

    3/5
Fun size but does the job, the dials are weirdly numbered (around the bottom so you can't see them) and the gas takes a while to light. The lid sticks to the hob metal bits (which are the wrong way around) and therefore makes an almighty crash if you forget to hold them in place whilst lifting the lid. I don't think that top oven gets to the heat that it says on the dial but I don't know what I can do about that.

Great looking cooker, shame about the grill

    3/5
Not much choice at all to buy a 50 cms wide gas cooker, so I had to buy this model although I had seen negative reviews regarding the grill. Well, of course it looks lovely BUT the lid is completeley see through, use your noddle Hotpoint , an opaque one is far better. Hides the rings. Two plastic blobs hold the lid off the rings-cheap and nasty. Yes you do have to hold the gas ignition in for absolute ages to light the grill and top oven, if you let go too soon, the whole process starts again. Absolute worse though, is as others have said, just cannot easily get the grill pan in and out. I might write to Hotpoint and ask how we are meant to do it! Just such a shame to have these issues when you have eagerly anticipated the arrival of your new cooker. Not the fault of AO of course who are amazing, pull your socks up Hotpoint!

    A little disappointed

Disappointed in some ways. Takes long to ignite. The look of it is spoilt by the 2 ugly looking protective discs on the glass lid (not shown on the pictures of the item)

    Hotpoint cooker

    3/5
Average cooker- takes some time to get used to it. Not sure how to use top oven metal guard that is supplied ( to prevent food burning?)

    Great looking cooker

    4/5
It's a lovely cooker but the grill is very hard to put on the lowest rung. The oven door rattles a bit when opening and closing. Given the price i expected it to be a bit more sturdy.

    Good cooker.

Generally seems pretty good. Like the dual oven. Neat and tidy for a small aperture.
